Metro Mike's Trading and Cycling Reviews (3)

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear belowAs Mike is aware, there is a 1,mile day road worthy warranty , which every vehicle must maintainThere was no purchase order given to me, there was no odometer disclosure given, the milage on the paperwork submitted to the bank without my signature was plus what the truck had on it when I originallys test drove the truckThe oil change sticker that he had done on the truck reflects what the actual milage was on the truck which again was higher than what was on the purchase order sent to the bankWhich is also shady practice and illegal as per New York state lawAs for my mechanic being on vacation for "days" was not days it was days was out of my control, at which time I chose to take the truck directly to a new [redacted] dealership to have the truck looked atThis is all despite the fact that when I originally brought the truck to him on the flatbed his words were "I'm definitely not paying for all this and you definitely drove the truck over 1,milesWhich is why there is no apologies to be givenLacking legal documents is clearly because they were incomplete and incorrect which I have copies of and photo to prove it Regards, [redacted] ***

First off I would like to state that Mr*** has lied more in the paragraph he wrote than true, I'm by far not a liar treat everyone the same but when lied to or about I go the other way and here's all truths to this matter!Let me say first that I'm very "seasoned" in the automotive business
retail, and mechanical by trade, any true mechanic will tell you that on 100% of motors when approaching an overheating dilemma on the gauge you are to pull right over have towed and refigure from there!Overheating comes from a multiple of things from small to big and more but trying not to drag this long sorry, as 1-stuck or non working thermostat ($repair) 2-Externalleak, hose, hose clamp, intake gasket etc ($to $repair) 3-and most common a water pump ($repair) As we all know except maybe Mr***, is that there's not a motor made that just "Blows Up"or "Blown engine" ask any true mechanic while under driving conditions knows you cannot drive miles with a bad head gasket non the less miles or more! So to come here and say "I was just driving and this happened" we all know is not the case, and Mr*** also slipped when I said you should have pulled right over at the beginning, his comment-Yeah with head down but I cannot prove that nor do I care! An overheating problem could have been fixed for way less than where this is nowSoon as he admitted already in his statement here that the truck broke down miles away from home and afterlifting the hood and noticed antifreeze leaking everywhere!Well here's what's wrong here, antifreeze all over motor in the excess I seen dripping on towtruck and on headliner of hood obviously means truck was overheated (I took quick phone pictures) and then to bring it to a garage and tell that engine is blown is things wrong! Head gasket replacement on all motors happens and there is an expense but a blown motor and bad head gasket is proof that the vehicle has been driven excessively and overheated causing warping of heads and blowing out the headgaskets to point of mechanic saying it needs a motor! I'm sure his mechanic will agree that I could not have known and sent out a car that ran incredible to not running now! We purchased this truck with 157,miles from an auction in Newburgh New York on April 29th and that can be Carfax to prove that and mileage we purchased with, we drove it the same amount of miles he did had it inspected and lube oil filter as we do on every single car with no pending monitors (we have proof) and here we are! Mr*** is also grasping saying "I changed the oil to hide an issue",well then I hide issues a year, every vehicle here gets a lube oil filter before it leaves, should I have left old oil in it really, STOP! Mr*** I know you get a copy of this and I want you to know I wouldn't do business like what you're saying I did and to accuse me to other people/friends like you have done already and knowing you blew this truck up due to pure "laziness" and or "not knowing" is terrible on your part, you are not covered under NYS I know that and you know that but as a man as you said I offered to help the situation, your mechanic goes on vacation for days out of nowhere I remember I call you to see what your mechanic is stating because you haven't called you dent answer then hours later I get this in mail, you call me after I have paper in my hand YES I send you to voicemail now! I have copied texts to prove! At this point its time for you to man up apologize to me before I would even consider helping you! I've been here years and it's not due conducting my business the way you say I did here and to our friends in this letter and to say it doesn't bother me I would be lying! I hope the Revdex.com does post this online actually I would like it posted to show some of us do care about our businesses still! I have more proofhere and any documents needed I can provide efficiently! Revdex.com as you can tell I'm not a proofreader so excuse some grammar etc. Thanks, Metro Mike Trading Mike Reinhart
