Not very professional
Buyer beware! I was told by the owner of the company, ROYCE EVANS, that the company itself doesn't do the work. I was told they sub contract the work to other companies. Unfortunately, that is how they believe they get out of compensation for damaging property. If you choose to use their services on a residential level, make sure you communicate with your surrounding neighbors. My neighbor chose to contract them and in turn with the shotty sevice they provided, ended up with major damage to my property and business. They chose to tell the sub contracted company to pour wet concrete on a rainy day, right up against a brand new fence that my neighbors installed. In turn, that decision damaged not only my neighbors property but also mine. As ROYCE EVANS acknowledged that damage was done, by compensation via check, he then decided to STOP PAYMENT on said compensation. I run a small urban farming business and I couldn't believe the tenacity of putting a stop payment on a local urban farmer suppling produce to the community. The amount of pictures I have of damage done easily justifies that the company did wrong to someone that wasn't even their contracted client. If I were you, I would not enter any contractual obligation until said project is done. The company charges ridiculous amount for ground up rock and water, and clearly they just push do get the job done whether it was done correctly or not, or if weather permits the correct environment for said services. Hope this helps considering the times we are in on financial levels.

To whom it may concern: I acknowledge the service call and I will go out to the property myself and take a look and address the issue in the next few days and I’ll make an appointment with the owner and discuss/meet and take care of any and all concerns.I apologize for any inconvenience and I will make it right with the homeowner[redacted] ***(owner)

To whom it may concern: I will go see the customer personally with the original sales representative who handled this job or at least was supposed to next week and we have informed the customer that we will handle this service callour goal is to have our customer completely satisfied

To whom it may concern: on the issue of the complaint ....I (the owner)only heard about it in the last couple of weeks as my sales rep field-manager *** was running this jobI do know *** had some health issues or problems and I don't know if that affected any of his responsibilities on this
job, however "I will take over the reins" and will call the customer and set up an appointment for me to personally come out and address the issue.Due to Colorado soil conditions such as bentonite, cracking concrete is not warranted and it is stated so in the contract. However,I will come out and fix this and seal it to the customers satisfaction.Because of the soil conditions we try to compact the soil very well, reinforce with steel rebar 1/inch,use only or higher psi strength concrete, properly finish and properly apply control joints and always take drainage into consideration! I will also address any issues with discoloration and sometimes they need to be touched up and I will take care of it.I apologize on behalf of our entire staff about maybe some poor communication from the sales rep and I will service this job properly, professionally and personally within the next days.My goal(which I'm sure I will achieve)is to make sure this customer is 100% satisfied! Regards, *** ***(owner)

Tell us why here...To whom it may concern: Yes, *** was the initial contact for an appointment with this customer and *** was the sales rep that contracted with this customer to replace a driveway, sidewalk, front porch, stairs and steps*** has tremendous experience running jobs
correctly and professionally and he instructs *** ( The crew leader )who manages *** who oversees the workers, the work, supplies, equipment and/or services as per a prior review with the customers on each individual job.*** stated he did the review with the customers to proceed.*** holds many professional credentials, insurance, and Workmen's Comp.I never heard of a problem until *** called and I could hear quite a bit of frustration as she was almost immediately cussing at me with extreme profanity ,but no problem I decided to make an appointment with everybody including *** to be thereShe called me again and at this time the job was already completed and her son was on the phone and he started cussing at me and actually threatened me with physical harm. This is when I told her if I come out there and this kind of behavior continues then "anybody would need a sheriff to create the peace"I called *** and he told me that these people treated them so horribly with profanity and accusations calling them is that his people had to leave a couple timesWhen I arrived at the meeting nothing about sod was ever brought up, I never saw any sod damage.*** stated he had permission to start the job from the owners and from *** in the beginning.*** and his crew all will testify and will welcome any third-party to take a look at the level and that it is correct and per code.I have never bullied these people in fact every worker will testify that they talk over everybody and they were treated inhumanely on this job.The elevation and slope is all per code.We agreed to do the brick retaining wall to help solve an elevation problem that they already had and he had that all ready to go and she canceled on him. They never broke a mainline, *** has many pictures to prove it was from a freeze-crack.When I went out there she wrote a check that *** and her authorized all the money with her again,he ran the entire job.*** stated job cleanup or sprinkler heads that are are or were broken by the crew can be replaced and we would certainly do that.As far as what she thought was road base coming out that's just a standard "mushrooming effect" that concrete does when it comes out of the forms.*** is a crew leader who I've had nothing but positive comments from customers

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to meAfter meeting with the owner of the company I wish I had contacted him directly to air my grievances He is very understanding and committed to quality work and customer satisfaction I have no doubt that this issue could have been resolved without the involvement of the Revdex.com and it is my sincere hope that this complaint will have no derogatory effect on this company We will meet again with a concrete repair expert to discuss options to address my concerns.
Sincerely,

make it right with the homeowner.[redacted](owner)

To whom it may concern, yes I visited with the customer on that date, representing my company. And yes we did contract to install a patio slab on the back yard. Inclement weather delayed the installation and the owner wanted it on a Saturday, we all agreed it was best to wait. My crew has done...

hundreds of jobs for me and I believe the work is above journey men work standards in the industry. We have many other customers to attest to our work. The crew arrived early, in the opinion of everyone its better to be early rather than late. Prior to us started any work it was reviewed with the home owner and crew Forman we were given permission to start work. My crew makes professional decisions due to predicted weather, there is no way they nor anyone in the state of [redacted] could have predicted the hail storm that followed. In reference to the “pool of water” the contract states in bold letters “ VERY IMPORTANT-PLEASE READ concrete is handwork, puddles may occur.” When the job was finished we were paid with a cashiers check upon completion. The job was complete, the contract states “purchaser will execute a completion certificate or pay the balance of the contract price immediately upon completion of the work and delivery of the goods and services.” The job was done on completion we were paid on completion. The hail did come, this was not predicted by anyone in the state, it was record holding as one of the worst hail storms. But the hail came after the completion of our work. Again in the contract it is clearly stated “not responsible for vandalism or weather once job is completed and forms are removed.” The storm was after completion of our project, we were paid upon completion of the project as the contract states. My Forman and workers came back out as common decency, our contract was done and protected by the contract, but we do not conduct business like that, we choose to build relationships with our customers. The damage that was done after completion of work and contract the crew Forman put it on himself to repair the work out of his own pocket when in all reality the insurance should have been contacted with the damage. The outcome was not the best, in regards to that keep in mind that was a repair job on a beautifully finished patio that was paid for out of pocket once the contract was completed. Sincerely [redacted] (owner.)
