I am rejecting this response because: I was given two choices on Sunday: Move to the one bedroom unit paying a monthly rate of $or walk away from the lease Luckily, my brother allowed me stay at his home Sunday/Sunday night as the studio apartment was unsafe and unlivable I received a call mid morning on Monday that they had decided to offer the temporary one bedroom apartment for the same rate of $per month which I accepted The reason why I filed the complaint on Sunday was due to the way I was treated for a problem that the apartment management had responsibility The solution offered on Monday was acceptable for re-accommodation while my studio apartment is repaired.

I received your letter in regards to a complaint against us due to an ice maker line breaking and leaked into another apartment for [redacted].  This occurrence happened over the past weekend in which I was not at the office, I did speak to the leasing agent and told her I could offer him...

another apartment but would have to get approval on pricing when the Corporate Office opened on Monday and the resident ([redacted]) stated he could wait until Monday morning.  On Monday morning we offered him a new apartment to move to which is larger than the apartment he is in.  The size of his apartment is a studio (450 sq ft), his monthly rent on that apartment was $650.00.  The apartment he was offered and he did transfer to is a one bedroom (759 sq ft), the market rent on that apartment was $930.  We did give him this apartment at the rate he is currently paying of $650.00 and he is very happy.  I am not sure why this was filed against us as we have accommodated him and did not raise his rent.  If there is anything else you need me to provide for this please feel free to contact me at [redacted] or you may email me at [redacted]@capreit.com.

We received a complaint filed against us in regards to my staff contacting a potential resident who contacted us for information on 7/7/2017 about leasing an apartment.  Our policy here is that if the person contacts us, we are to follow up with them until we are told not to by the potential...

resident.  I have attached documentation stating that we are to not call [redacted] any further.  The original person who called in gave his information IE: his phone number and email gave us the name of [redacted], how she got his information is out of our control nor do any of us have ties with this person.  We as business owners do not know the person on the other end of the line stating this information as to be true or false so we record this into the computer.  We did not realize this to not be him until we followed up with the phone call and that is when he stated it was not him and not to call again.  Per our policy [redacted] will not be contacted any further and we apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused him.
