Metro Screen Printing Reviews (2)

Review: I ordered 20 bowling towels from Metro to have them screen print a prior design they did for us with bowling pins crashing. The design was to be 6 x 6.5 inches wide. I ordered from his catalog requesting 3 different colors. I ordered on 2/24/14 plenty of time for me to have the towels by April. I paid $151.62 which is more than $7 per towel. I checked online and the towels from Anvil are only $1.57 each. I started calling mid march to see when they would be ready. First I was told the towels were not in but would be picked up the following week, then when I checked in the towels didn't arrive and the colors were unavailable, then he purchased towels from another location but the quality was linen and it would not work as a bowling towel. He then ordered again from anvil and asked them for 20 towels of whatever they had. When I called he told me he had 20 red towels in, so I said fine, we will take those. I go to pick up the order and all he printed was the name Go Bowl Juniors using 1" font. Not the graphic that I asked for. I could have embroidered the words on a $1.57 towel and saved the Go Bowl Juniors more than $100. I feel cheated. He definitely ripped me off on the ink and gave me an inferior product design. I am discouraged and dreading telling my youth bowlers because I had them all pick the color they wanted and showed them the pattern I would use. I would never recommend this business to anyone.Desired Settlement: Based on the job done and the amount of ink he saved by giving us a one line towel, I feel we were severely over charged for our towels. We are a very small youth bowling league, and there is no way those towels would have cost me that kind of money at another printing place. I went to Metro because of the graphic design he had done for me previously and he never said he could not get it. He took a picture and just needed to find it. He rushed the printing of the towels and I am extremely dissatisfied.

Review: ordered 30 shirts 3 sweaters and other items all the ink from the shirts after I washed faded out from red to pink 2 of the 3 sweaters I had to take back as they wear printed wrong the jacket I purcshed was completely destroyed and the owner gave to me I asked him if he thought this was acceptable and he was comfortable giving it to me and he said no but I will take $20 off the cost. which makes no sence why pay for a jacket that's incorrect I was told my order would also be ready with in a week and it has been 2 months I have had to make a toatal of 7 trips to his shop to resolve this and I am still waiting on 2 hats I jacketDesired Settlement: im asking for my set up fee back $100 the fee for 2 hats $20 and the jacket fee $ 49 I belive I should be asking for all the shirts and sweaters as I have to get reprinted so I belive this is more than fair

TOATAL $169
