Review: The settlement company did not wire money from the proceeds from selling my mother's house into her account, as promised, until I called 12 days after settlement. They could not provide an explanation for why they kept the money in their account instead of wiring it on the day of settlement. The amount would have accrued interest in that time, although it is unknown to me if the account it was kept in was interest- bearing. My mother was not given interest for the twelve day period.Desired Settlement: Interest at the going rate from day of settlement until day of deposit into the correct account.
