Review: Went to the store to look for a [redacted] amp. All he had was used [redacted] amps he played one it sounded awful. He told me all [redacted] amps sound like this which is not true.

He then told me to look at this new amp. It was a [redacted]. This is the only brand of new amps I saw in the store.. He proceeded to demonstrate with the same Brand off guitar that I have. Did not sound bad but did not have the sound I was looking for .I told him this was not the sound I was looking for. I told him I play blues and want the same sound as a [redacted] amp which is very distinct. He then shows me all these different ways I could make the amp sound like I wanted. He made many attempts to get this sound right. It came close but not the same sound I wanted. He put on the hard sell told me that I could get this sound I just had to keep adjusting it'. I bought thinking if its not right I will bring it back. It also had a crackling sound when I changed some settings. I tried everything to get the [redacted] sound but was impossible. It was bough on 9/24/2014 in the pm .At a price of $1329.52 plus tax

I returned the amp the next day 9/25/2014 and talked to [redacted] who had sold me the amp. He is the [redacted]. He could not get amp to make cracking noise but he did not change all the settings. He again played it and still not the right sound. He told me nothing wrong with the amp .I told him I wanted to return and get my money back. I brought it back in the original box with all the paper work from the factory sealed. It came with a foot pedal was still in the plastic sealed and not used. I never register the warranty. Was still sealed. Amp was in the same condition as it was when I boughs. He told me could not give me my money back only store credit. He said its on the bottom of the ticket. Who looks at the bottom of your ticket when you buy something and I did not see a sign stating the store policy. . I f I had been told this I would not have bough. He said he had problems people buying things using it to play in a club an said they wanted their money back and the equipment would be damaged. This is why he made this rule and he would not bend the rules for me .I think every case is different and He could have made a exception. He say no can only return in five days an only store credit. Since he does not carry anything I need I was stuck with a new amp I did not want. So I decided to try to sell knowing I could not use. I called the store 10/15/2014 talked to I think his name was [redacted] and explained what happened and I wanted to know if they wanted to buy back since they have a sign saying buy used musical instruments. I knew I would take a loss but something is better than nothing. He told me I needed to talked to [redacted] the manger. I gave my name so they knew who I was and [redacted] would know. .After along wait I was cut off. Did not call back thinking [redacted] has my number an e mail never heard from him. I doing this now after a friend told me to file a complaint with the Revdex.com that's why it took so long to contact you.. .I feel this is not a good way to conduct a business. .If I had been treated well he would have a happy customer. Also he told me after I bough the amp he could not sell as new. I do not see why everything was the same as was bough or at least at a small loss then he would have a repeat customerDesired Settlement: To return the amp refund my credit card or at the least buy back at $900 which he could sell for this break even and have a happy repeat customer

[redacted] from the business explained that they are not able to change their store policy for one customer. he was offered different alternatives but would not accept anything but a refund of the money he spent. The business is not able to do that as it is agaisnt their return policy and it is clearly written on the receipt.
