Metro Towing Reviews (2)

The accusations of [redacted] are untrue and fabricated. This is the situation that transpired between February 11-15 is as follows: On February 11, 2015, [redacted] of Metro Towing LLC responded to a [redacted] Police Area E-18 tow call for a fire damaged vehicle Upon arrival, [redacted] found the 2009...

[redacted] black plate [redacted], completely destroyed by fire. The car was towed to the Metro Towing LLC secured lot located at [redacted] Avenue, [redacted] MA [redacted]. On February 15, 2015 the vehicle owner, [redacted] and her son [redacted] came into the office to sign the necessary insurance release and try to retrieve personal items from the vehicle. At the time of their arrival, the Metro Towing LLC owner, [redacted], [redacted], plow drivers [redacted] and [redacted] were in the storage yard moving vehicles and plowing the excessive snow that had accumulated. They observed the a young man, now known as [redacted] approach the car with a sledge hammer and repeatedly hit the trunk of the vehicle with the sledge hammer trying to open it. [redacted] approached him and asking him what he was doing and [redacted] stated that he was trying to get his tools out. The owner [redacted] explained that the sledge hammer would only put more pressure on the already burned metal and make it impossible for him to open. [redacted] offered his assistance with a crowbar and [redacted] accepted his assistance. The trunk was successfully opened to retrieve any undamaged personal items. At no time during their time at the yard, were there any flatbed trucks in the secured lot. There was a bobcat plow and a plow pickup truck. Due  the excessive snow fall that season snow removal was being done in the storage lot and the flatbeds were in the garage in the located in the garage located in the same building as the office. Not to mention, if anyone had hit her car with the flatbed truck, the damage would be in the window and roof area not the trunk. There is approximately 2 feet of difference between the bottom of the flatbed and the top of the trunk area of the vehicle. If a flatbed truck had hit her car 10 times in the rear of the vehicle, as she stated, she would have a convertible. She also referenced damage to the steering column, tire rods and powering steering. all these items are located in the front engine areas and not the rear of the vehicle. Based on the dimensions of the vehicle to the flatbed truck, it is obvious that this is a false and fabricated accusation. There is no way there could have been rear end damage from a flatbed truck to the rear of the vehicle by a flatbed tow truck. Not to mention all the damaged items listed above, are in the front engine cavity and not the rear of the vehicle

I am sending you this short letter in response to the letter I received from your dept. What happened with Metro Towing Co was not fabricated and not a lie. I had told your dept that my car had a fire and was towed per order of [redacted] Police, [redacted] E-18. If this is a secure tow yard, then they should have camera coverage about this incident. My car was on a short tow truck lift at the front and put down by the same tall husky gentleman that signed my release form. There was only the one flat bed that hit the back of my car that was in the yard. The snow had already been cleared, the storage yard at the end of the bldg next to the auto body & repair space was a caterpillar plow, not a single vehicle, flat bed, only tool boxes were in the open 3-4 space garage. There were 2 workers there that night, not four. I’m sure they could have sent the video camera footage of that eve but they have both covered their stories to protect their jobs. Now it's an issue about truth & integrity. I know where my front end components are, I’m not a liar. I’m more furious being called a liar. Ask them for the security footage. They’ve probably erased it by now. The front of the tow flatbed did hit my car, then the truck broke the lock of the trunk, which was opened with a crowbar. My incident with Metro I’m sure is not the first and surely will not be the last. They will get caught up by their unprofessional business practices if not by me, I hope by somebody that has authority. Thank you for your time in this matter
