Regarding the complaint ID # [redacted] there are a few issues that Metrograph would like to clarifyFirst, the complaint is listed as an "advertising" issue in relation to the Village Voice except the theater does not advertise through the Village VoiceIt is true that there was a wrion the Village Voice webpage for the screening event in question yet this was without the affiliation of our office or marketing teamSecond, the complaint reads that the screening would cost $all together (a short and two features each costing $each), however the short that preceded the screening of one of the features was not at any additional costThe total cost of attending the two features as well as the shorts came to $A third point the theater would like to make clear is a supposed issue paying for tickets onlineThere is the standard process on the Metrograph website of navigating to showtimes for individual films that allows the patron to select and reserve a seat in the theater for the price of admission, even though the complaint reads that “ [redacted] ” Given all this, we at Metrograph aim to provide the most straight-forward information to the public and are saddened to hear of this particular patron’s experience - including the difficulty traveling to Metrograph which of course are beyond our controlAs such, we are happy to provide [redacted] with a free pass to see any screening of his choosing which can be redeemed by emailing us at [redacted] and referencing this message

We provided the complainant with a free pass which he accepted and used to attend the film Exposed on the evening of May ***The value of this pass is $15, nearly three times that of the requested compensation, so we feel confident that the complaint is resolved
