We purchased our home last summer, and the front and back yard were both basically jungles when we moved in. My husband and I spent months worth of weekends trying to tame the beast, but it felt like we were just barely scratching the surface. We managed to get everything cut back in the late fall, but we knew spring and summer were coming and it would be a jungle again soon if we didn't take action.
I contacted MetroGreenscape after we were ghosted by another landscaping company, and Tina was incredibly responsive and got us set up with an appointment for Sean to come out. Sean was early to the appointment, professional, and man, he knows his stuff!
We discussed working in phases as we have a lot of things we need help with to get our yard in shape, and they are completely happy to work with us on that which is awesome.
Sean gave us a quote to clear the front, back, and side yard as well as install some drainage for an area in our front walk that floods when we get more than a sprinkle of rain. We were scheduled for about 2 weeks out.
He and his employees came out here in the morning (on time!), and cleared our entire yard, sprayed to kill all of the ivy and weeds, laid pine straw, and installed the drain in ONE DAY! We are just amazed!
Sean has been incredibly communicative with us before and after, offering ideas and advice for maintenance. It has been just a fantastic experience so far, and we are excited to keep working with Sean, Tina, and the folks at MetroGreenscape to get our yard in shape. I can't wait to see what's next!

Had landscape work done in October 2018 and 4 plants died. No response for replacement.
We purchased landscaping from MetroGreenScape in October 2018 with a written warranty that they would cover plants for 1 year. In March, we lost 2 trees and 1 shrub and contacted them for replacement. They sent someone out said they would replace by 19th of April and when I followed up on April 16, I was told the person who I spoke to no longer worked for the company and they would get back to me end of day. No one responded which is what they have been doing for weeks. We want to just be reimbursed the cost of the trees so we can replace them ourselves or have someone else do it. The total cost of the trees/shrub is about $630. 2 Green Giants and 1 Gardenia Shrub. All of the work they have done to date has been paid for.

It is my understanding that once the homeowner contacted us, after the original employee was no longer here, a handful of times were given to replace the plants before the deadline, none of which would work for the homeowner due to scheduling constraints. We are happy to replace the plants, but will not issue a refund. Our policy states a one time replacement, not a refund.

since Metrogreenscape was not able to fix the issues and neglected to show up on several occasions, we did not want to enter into another no show situation again, which is why we just wanted a refund. Also, I don't see any thing in writing that shows their policy is a one time replacement. we do have a contract stating they will guarantee the plants, but no specifics on how that happens. we still would like to have a refund on the dead plants/trees.

I appreciate your point, however; I feel we must abide by our policy in replacing the plants. We feel we are offering a reasonable solution. We are not willing to issue a refund.

The entire process of working with Metrogreen scape has been frustrating. We are the ones being reasonable and just asking for a simple refund as we no longer want to work with them. They had a chance to replace the plants and they dropped the ball. I still see no details where they state the guarantee includes only replacement of trees vs refund. We are still asking for a refund of the trees.

We used Metro Greenscape for drainage work and installation of sod in our entire front yard. We could not be happier with the results. Everyone was very professional and the yard looks great! Thanks again!

Tina C, the First Impressions Director at Metro Greenscape was awesome. While I waited for my appointment, she offered me a beverage and chatted for a little while to make my acquaintance and make me comfortable. Then I noticed a personalized welcome message on the screen in the sitting room. Very nice touch. There are a ton of awards on display that the company has won for customer service and excellence in their industry. I was impressed that Tina and the staff at Metro Greenspace are serious about doing everything they can to serve their customers and local business associates.

Working with Metro Greenscape has been a pleasure. *** the project manager for my yard work, really went above and beyond to clean up my property. It only took one day, and I felt like he made it a priority even though they had a lot of other jobs scheduled and my job was small and very likely not their biggest invoice. He and his crew left me with a beautiful and easily maintained yard and I could not be happier! Overall, everyone I dealt with was professional, efficient, and treated me with respect

Metro informed that they will make good from improper seeding. Last July I received an email that they would replace with sod. Request since ignored.
The original order (invoice ***) was August 2015. The yard was to be graded and seeded with Bermuda. The reason I am filing a complaint now is because for the past two years I have been visited and told by Metro Greenscape that a make good on the seed in the backyard would be completed. When I replied to these emails about sod replacement - which Metro offered - I received no response.

I know this complaint is more than 12 months after the invoice and maybe nothing could be done but after 2 years of being told something would be done (including site visits and confirmation emails in 2017) I felt it necessary to file a complaint.

Bermuda Sod Replacement for improper seeding.

We were able to speak with the client to address this issue. We take complete responsibility for the drop in communication regarding replacing the poorly seeded area with sod.

Currently we are working with the client to schedule a time that works best for their family for us to install the sod. We will close this case a final time once the work has been completed but wanted to update with current status.

I am very thankful to have met with someone from Metro Greenscape. He was very professional and knowledgeable. He listened to what our plans are for now, but the encouraged us to think about our future needs and wants. He made great suggestions and we are looking forward to seeing the plan soon.

They canceled two appointments within 2 hours of each appointment.

I found Metro Green Scape very helpful and they listen to what I wanted. They provide me with a plane showed me were and how everything would look. I must say they were professional at all times and well knowleable. The deck came out absolutely gorgeous .

I had a very positive experience with Metro. It did not start out on a great foot, but it certainly ended on one. There were some miscommunications at the start of our project that left us feeling unsatisfied. That all changed once the owner, Darin, was notified of the problem. From that point forward, he treated our project with kid gloves. He managed the process and checked in frequently to make sure we were happy. The end result is great and we seemed to have solved our drainage problems in our yard.
