I paid in advance an agreed upon amount to Metroplex prior to receiving a chest x-ray on 5/18/ Receipt # [redacted] Financial encounter # [redacted] I have since received two bills One directly from Metroplex statement [redacted] which they stated was an error, but have not called me back or provided any information that the bill is cleared per the stated agreement on the phone 6/28/ The other bill is addressed from Diagnostic Radiology SPEC, but when you call the number [redacted] you get Metroplex billing account # [redacted] They say I have to pay this because it is a provider fee, but I have already paid in full for services renderedI believe this billing practice is illegal

When checking in for a year old with a broken arm (obviously was outwardly in pain) I asked for a ball park estimate timeline to be triaged (seen) or how many people were in front of us....I was told they could not give me a time or the number of people in front of us (exact time I can see not wanting to give a number, but the number of people that is not a big request)I understand medical folks have to be robotic in a way, but some compassion and basic information (how many people in front of us in line) is not to much to ask!
We ended up leaving without being seen and went to a place in Harker Heights
