Review: I attended an online auction with a buy it now feature and by agreement to the rules of the company, purchased two items and received receipts confirming my purchase via emails which I have attached to this mail. I paid for these items by credit card only to find the next day they had voided the binding agreement without my consent. They re-listed the items that I had purchased without my consent. At this time, I have been contacted directly by Metropolis Collectibles Inc. regarding complaint ID [redacted], however my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

I did not take advantage of a glitch, I purchased items listed on this auction site which has stringent rules as to

participation.They give the impression that these items appeared

momentarily and I took advantage, well I beg to differ as these items

were online for many hours as I returned to view them many times before deciding to buy them. I don't know how long the items were online prior to my

viewing but this can be verified via stats of the site. I viewed thru the list of items that were for auction. Everything is date timed and stamped which can verify how long these item had a BUY IT NOW tag, this was the method I used to purchase

the items, many auction sites have this feature including [redacted]. I purchased these items and this

is fact I have the multiple invoices confirming my purchase solidifying my legal purchase of these items. I have contacted legal council to handle this matter.

As we understand there is a situation with a client of ours by the name of [redacted]. He filed a complaint against us for canceling an order he made online. The reason for this cancellation is that the items in question were intended to be sold at auction and not for a fixed retail price. The items are published original paintings of book covers. The estimated value of these items are $500 - $1,000.

**. [redacted] mistakenly took advantage of a rare glitch in our computer system, where the items were accidently listed to our online store front (not at auction) with a fixed price of $1. We quickly adjusted this mistake upon discovery, at which point **. [redacted] contacted us. We explained the situation and apologized for the computer glitch. **. [redacted]'s claim that he already paid for these items is unfounded, as his credit card was never charged. We only process credit cards when items are ready for shipment.

We were contractually obligated by our consignor to offer these items in our online auction, and not for a fixed retail value. **. [redacted] was invited by email to participate and bid for these items at his discretion when the auction started on 11/**/13. **. [redacted] chose not to participate in the auction. The invoice was created online to an item you attempted to purchase. This item was listed erroneously and the invoice was generated automatically. This is only an invoice, not a receipt. All credit card purchases are charged manually, you were never charged the $1.00 for the item or the $10 for shipping. I would also like to note that we contacted you the following day and explained that the item was listed by mistake. You were made aware that it would be set for auction and had the opportunity to purchase it there.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

This is not going to just go away! I purchased items from this auction and HAVE RECEIPTS for my purchase, regardless of how they portray the transaction. they state that they have sold items which did not belong to them. I believe stringent rules apply to any auction house, I have MY RECEIPTS for the items that I bought and I want my items. Below is a copy of the email heading from this company, am I reading some other language or can I have an interpretation to the words THANK YOU FOR YOUR PURCHASE they qualified me prior to the auction, they reneged on the deal which was done according to their auction rules. I am starting to get concerned because this company has my personal information and if they can just renege on a deal to suit themselves what else are they capable of doing. As I stated I am getting extremely concerned for my personal info.
