I am rejecting this response because:as indicated in my attachments, Mr S*** is highly incorrect in his charge that the fence was complete In fact, the fence was not complete and I was required to call an outside party after several months He was very well aware of thisThis is beyond absurd for Mr S*** to charge that the fence was complete and that I owed any amount of money for his workIt appears I will need to follow up in ancourt of lawThere is more to the text string but this program will allow four files to be downloaded

The roll gate was installed and actively working, but Mr. [redacted] did not like the direction in which the gate was opening.  This was decided after our company had installed the post and began to install the roll gate.  The direction of opening, as stated by Mr. [redacted] was not included in the contract language.  Once again, our company will not pay $1000.00 dollars, when the customer still owed the sum of $485.00 dollars on the agreed upon contract.  We will listen to a reasonable offer from the customer.

I am rejecting this response because:because the fence was installed incorrectly and was months overdue per contract, I was forced to hire another contractor in order to complete the job.  Although it was not explicitly stated in the contract, I did communicate the  necessary direction of the fence as it was a requirement of subsequent building that would take place and I would have not done it any other way.As aresultt of hiring another contractor, my cost was raised substantially over the initial contract.had Mr S[redacted] ar least comunicated his intention to not complete this project, we may have been able to reach a different outcome but  I was told on multiple occasions that he was coming to finish and then fully abandondnthe project.  I can provide copies kf the texts relating such information

The original contract for this customer was in the amount was in the amount of $965.00.  Mr. [redacted] paid a down payment of $480.00 with a credit card.  Our company then purchased all the fencing materials and installed the roll gate and all of the items at the customer's...

home.  I have receipts for all materials and the bank statement showing the amount of money received form Mr. [redacted].  Our company was never paid any money beyond the initial down payment of $480.00 on the agreed upon contract.  There was still a balance owed to our company in the amount of $485.00.      Mr. [redacted] informed us of the gate direction change after we had installed all of the post and began to install the roll gate. We were not able to come to acceptable terms after this incident occurred. The cost of the gate items were: $75.70 for post caps and materials, $364.00 for the fence panel and other parts, $52.36 for misc. materials, and $32.88 for tool rental. Laborer costs of $150.00.  Even though the materials cost and labor exceeded the original amount of the customer payment.  Metropolitan Builders is willing to listen to a reasonable settlement offer, in order to have a somewhat satisfied customer, but we will not pay $1000.00 as requested.
