We are a company which holds personal information; when we contact an individual we typically have obtained phone number and/or addresses
from a reliable sources if it be from our client or otherwise
Before we release the purpose for which we are calling or in your case returning a call from a message, we must confirm that we have the proper individual on the phoneSo when we asked for a date of birth, it was simply was to confirm we were speaking with the proper party
As mentioned to you by our agent we are required under law to take precautions before releasing personal information within our possession So our agent was not acting in bad faith

The balance owing on your last statement from [redacted] was $66.72, there was a charge of $50.00...

Administration Fee added because your account was sent to collection, this is part of your agreement with this company when you signed up with them, the other $7.59 is respecting the interest accruing on the account from December 2015 to when you recently paid your account.

I am rejecting this response because: the number they contacted was [redacted].  They should not be permitted to harass [redacted] parties that do not have any involvement with them.   I want the calls to my number to stop immediately and threats of mail!  I am not the person that they are looking for and they have no right to contact me.

I am rejecting this response because:There is no regard for anything I wrote in the complaint. Between the time that I put the complaint in and the time I received a response (which simply told me to comply with divulging personal information for no reason to a company I don't know anything about and definitely do not have any reason to speak with) I received at least 5 additional calls from the same individual that called before leaving a canned message; and on top of that am now being harassed by automated messages. I sent in this request with 4 possible outcomes, and none of those outcomes were reached here (including the outcome of knowing why they're constantly harassing me).
