provide her copies of certain papers (affidavits).One of our employees, asked [redacted] the address and nature of the work we supposedly performed.At that point, [redacted] demanded we instantly provide her copies of documents and became generally abusive.[redacted] was so irate, and yelling, that I could hear her through the  phone -- across 3 desks!At that point, I advised my secretary that I would take the phone.I, tried to have a conversation with [redacted], but my efforts were in earnest. [redacted] demanded immediate attention, that we stop anything and everything else, and instantly provide her what she was asking for. I advised [redacted] that our computer does not indicate any invoice having been sent to a "Goldfine".  [redacted] then advised that we did not do any work directly for her - but that she knew we did the work because she had text messages from someone else that she had hired.I advised [redacted] that to search the records by hand from 2014 there would be a $75.00 charge. When [redacted] continued abusively, and then issued threats, I advised her there would be an additional $75. attitude charge."Metropolitan" computers do not have any "Goldfine".  Further, if, as [redacted] finally admitted, "Metropolitan" did not do any work directly for [redacted], and [redacted] only knows of "Metropolitan" through copies of texts from someone else that she did hire... then I suggest [redacted] contact that other party.  On the other hand, should [redacted] desire that we search our records by hand, there will be a $75. record search fee and a $75 attitude fee, payable in advance by certified check, plus applicable sales tax. It should be noted that, "Metropolitan" having been in business for over 66 years, thankfully enjoys a successful customer base. First this company claims to have 24 hour emergency service. That's false.

Spent $8675 to convert from oil to gas last week. Told the job would take 2 days. They began on Wednesday and completed Thursday night. Thursday night there was heat. Friday there was loud banging coming from the pipes. Saturday Morning when I woke the house was cold. NO HEAT! Called for emergency service at 9:00am. Had to call back at 3pm when no one showed. Finally around 7:00pm the servicer shows up. Stated the BRAND NEW SYSTEM WAS FLOODED and someone would have to come in the next day because he did not have the tools to fix it. The next day we did not hear nor see anyone from Metropolitan Heat and Power Company. At 3 pm called the Emergency Service ####-###-#### again. The gentleman stated he though the problem was fixed. Said he would make a call and call me back. Never received a call back. Called the EMERGENCY HOTLINE again around 6pm. Left another message. Never received a call back. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Skill of plumbers installing the system in question. How do you collect your payment in full, leave a new customer without heat for 2 days and expect them to report out a positive experience or recommend your company???
