Metropolitan Life Insurance Company

This company is terrible. Many processes are manual and communication with them is poor. Despite the fact that I have an esgrow, they refused to bill my mortgage company with our premium and would often not even let them know when price changed. The kept canceling our insurance without telling anyone and when we discovered it, they insisted that we pay them for the time we weren't covered. This last time they charged us for the period we weren't covered (and had no claims) and then told us we needed a new policy.

Had we had a claim during that time, there would have been no way they would have accepted the liability. This company is a SCAM. Avoid at all costs. I don't know how they can justify charging people for canceled periods when the communication issues are THEIR fault and they claim that the policy wac canceled.
