To whom it may concern:   This matter was just brought to our attention by the applicant, [redacted]. He made no previous attempt to communicate his concern regarding the good faith deposit that was collected at the time of his application on June *, 2016. This transaction...

involved multiple roommates in which throughout the entire time of the transaction they played games with my agent. Each roommate would separately agree to specific terms, and then moments later they would have another roommate call to dispute and renegotiate terms that had already been agreed. The other roommates were fully aware that the good faith deposit would be included as part of the fee for the unit pending their application’s approval. We were able to get the clients approved for the apartment and get them a lease. Upon approval, they again attempted to renegotiate the terms. We have patiently accommodated them throughout and continue to do so for over a month after they had already moved in. These applicants are seeking to recoup monies based upon a technicality; the receipt was only in the name of [redacted], and it had been agreed prior to the lease signing that the good faith deposit would be applied to the broker fee if they were approved for the unit.  In addition, [redacted] has listed the agent incorrectly. Daniel W[redacted] was not the agent involved in this transaction. His name should not be involved here and should not be tarnished as he only stepped in at the end to assist with the lease signing process.  As a matter of good business and with the intention of bringing this matter to a successful conclusion, Metropolitan Property Group will be issuing a refund to [redacted] for the good faith deposit in the amount of $500. This refund will be available for [redacted] to pick up from our office. He will be given a check for $500 and will be required to sign a document confirming that no legal recourse can be taken as the transaction has been reversed/ completed in full.     Thank you,Jonathan T[redacted] | Associate Broker    Metropolitan Property Group[redacted]  *  [redacted]

Review: This company has numerous apartments listed under the wrong price. When you contact them about an apartment they say there was a "typo" and the price is actually thousands of dollars more than what was advertised. They then try to push you into apartments listed as no fee in your price range but when it comes time to sign they insist there is a broker's fee.

All of their reviews online are completely in line with what I experienced.Desired Settlement: I want them to stop what they are doing and list their apartments with the right information.
