Tell us why hereI apologize for the delay in responding MRIS is a multiple listing service for real estate agents and brokers; subscription to MRIS requires that the agent/broker agree to abide by the National Real Estate rules and regulations, and MRIS rules and regulations It is the agents/brokers responsiblity to know the rules regarding posting listings In the event that the agent violates a rule regarding listing properties, the agent will receive a warning notice and then a fine If the violation continues the agent will receive additional fines every days All violations and fines are appealable, and if the subscriber doesn’t like the result of the appeal they can request a panel review [redacted] **'s fines totaled $by the time the violation was corrected His appeal was denied and he requested a panel review, the panel decided to reverse the last three fines, which waived $of the $due The subscriber contends that the notices and violations were not received MRIS communicates to subscribers via the email that they have on file with the company, it is the subscriber’s responsibility to check spam and or update MRIS if there is an email change We received no request from the subscriber to update his email All payments for subscription dues and fines are non-refundable as per the subscription agreement that was signed by [redacted] **Timeline: 11/4/- warning notice11/11/- $fine11/21/- $fine11/30/- $fine12/7/- $fine12/14/- $fine12/21/- $fine12/29/- $fine1/4/- appeal received1/5/- appeal denied1/9/- panel request received and confirmed1/12/- panel held1/13/- $outstanding fine stopped, panel response sent and customer responded

Tell us why The subscriber was fined for having text on his photos on listing, this information was provided to him in the original warning and the notices that were emailed to him If he would like a copy of his subscription agreement he can request a copy from MRIS's customer support center and the rules and regulations are always available at [redacted] MRIS's policy is to notify the subscriber via email if there is a compliance issue, to the email address on file Although the subscriber is unhappy with the fine, he has not contended that the listing did not violate the rules and regulations This is a business to business relationship, and as the business person he is required to know the rules and regulations for his industry and for his subscription to MRIS Please note that as courtesy MRIS waived $of the $
