Failure to produce title and subsequent registration as promised. On 10/1/2014 I purchased a 2006 Subaru Impreza Outback Sport from Stan at Metrowest. I took out a loan for part of the purchase and paid cash for the down payment. When I traded in my VW, he said we could switch the plates and I had 7 days on those plates so I could take the car home right away. He would wait until my parents sent the title to the VW to him (it was in my mother's name) and then he would do all the registry business and mail me the new plates or I could pick them up. Since then he has lied and given excuses why he can't get it done. He offered to reimburse me for a rental car while I wait. It's been 8 days, and I don't believe he has the title nor will he reimburse for a rental. He says he has the title, but he gives a different excuse each day why it's not been registered.Desired SettlementMy first choice would be to have the Subaru registered immediately in my name, since I already have it in my driveway. If that isn't possible immediately, I would like a full refund plus the cost of the rental car I having been using that I can no longer afford.Business Response We did have a problem with the registration of this 2006 Subaru that was purchased. As promised, we did pay a total of $700 for a rental vehicle. A Check was overnighted on 10/7/14 for $300 and another check for $400 10/22/14. Unfortunately as of 10/31/14 we still could not resolve the registration issue and a full refund was given to the customer along with their trade delivered to them fully detailed. We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused and have resolved this issue to the best of our ability. There is an outstanding balance of $572.56 that they owe me, of which they have been notified but not responded. This is a lot of money to me, and I need to be reimbursed as soon as possible so we can finally put this all behind us.Final Business Response A check for the remaining rental balance of $572.56 has been sent overnight today to resolve the issue.

Used car was delivered to us without a registration and title and not repaired as statedPurchased a 2005 [redacted] and was promised that a sensor would be fixed as well as registered for us and delivered to our home. Car was left at a half way point for us to pick up. After my son picked up the car, he noticed the traction light was still on and the brakes would not engage until pedal was almost to the floor. upon his arrival at home with the car, his father (who is a mechanics by trade) check it out also and found no blake fluid in the master cylinder and that there was an anti freeze leak in the back of the engine. The coolant flange is leaking and some hoses are leaking. Owner will not answer our calls or messagesDesired SettlementI would like a full refund on the car. Business Response Upon hearing of the issues that Mrs [redacted] had with the vehicle, we arranged a time to come to the customers house and pick up the vehicle for service. The vehicle was picked up on [redacted] and immediately dropped off for repair. We repaired the traction control light, the anti freeze leak, had the vehicle state inspected and changed the oil and filter.
