Monday the 17thAt the time we were made aware of his situation, a member of our Student Support staff reached out to every appointment on his calendar, and either spoke to the student to inform them or left a voicemailThis is all documented by our phone systemWhen our Business Development Consultant returned to the office on Tuesday the 18th he reached out to Mr [redacted] and conducted the strategy sessionDuring this call Mr [redacted] was given a lengthy list of assignments to start implementing, and was instructed to call back as soon as he had completed them or ran into roadblocksOur Consultant went above and beyond for Mr [redacted] as we normally only provide one session per studentRegardless of the extra help, our consultant received no further communication from Mr [redacted] Instead he reached out to our Student Support hotline on August 8th to request a new Business Development Consultant, during this call there was no mention of mentoring let alone “up-selling” of any program.Mr [redacted] was assigned a new consultant which he had another calls with, one on the 9th and another on the 11th of AugustAt the conclusion of the first call it was very clear to Mr [redacted] he was going to need a lot more help if he wanted to get up and running so he submitted an application for mentoring. At this time our Director of Enrollment reviewed Mr [redacted] ’s application, all the notes the second consultant had taken and a personal recommendation from that consultantAt this time a final interview was granted for Mr [redacted] This interview was conducted on August 16th and he was given an invitation to join the programThis was in large due to Mr [redacted] ’s unwavering statements of commitmentHe stated things like “I am at a pivot point in my life and I am ready to do whatever it takes”During Mr [redacted] ’s interview it was made extremely clear that this is an effort based programHe was told many times in many different ways that if he did not take action he would not be successfulThere were never any claims that he would be making money in “weeks” as Mr [redacted] statesIn fact the Director of Enrollment asked him the question “what if it took you months to get your first deal under contract, could you show that kind of determination?” Mr [redacted] answered “yes”He, also, signed our contract that states multiple times there are no guaranteed results and that real estate and our program are effort basedOur core value is “Our Student’s Success is Our Success” and as such do whatever we can to support our students every step of the way, but at the end of the day it is up to the student to do their part and put in the necessary work.As far as the Deal Automator it was also made extremely clear to Mr [redacted] that we would cover all hosting and maintenance fees for the length of his program, which is monthsAfter that time he would be responsible for the discounted monthly costThis was also expressly detailed in our contract that Mr [redacted] signed and initialled. The next complaint of Mr [redacted] ’s is that Torsten missed a mentoring call with Mr [redacted] while on his scheduled “Vacation”The mentorship program is not based on a 9-schedule, we provide flexibility to our Real Estate Experts, Mentors, and studentsTorsten was still working with his students during this timeAlso on Mr [redacted] ’s Google Calendar we see that the second mentoring call was scheduled for September 5thTorsten reached out to Mr [redacted] on Aug 28th to insure they both had that time allotted for the second mentoring call, this contact with Torsten was days prior to the upcoming call It is important to note that Torsten reaching out proactively on August 28th was not for a scheduled call, but done as a courtesySo the claim of a missed mentoring call is false, it just hadn’t occurred yet.Along those same lines Mr [redacted] stated he was dissatisfied with the Success Work Assignment that Torsten gave at the end of the first call on Aug 22ndThis comes back to the root problem, no action taken by the student There is a lot more to this assignment then “Call Craigslist and get leads”The intention of this exercise is to get the student out of their comfort zone, get comfortable using scripts, practice negotiating, and building rapport over the phoneThe best part of this exercise, when completed, is while a student practices these real world skills they have the opportunity to actually find deals! Lastly, Mr [redacted] stated our Director of Enrollment MrCharles said “he would talk to [redacted] about refunding my money; and then he would call me the next day”We pulled the email correspondence between MrCharles and the student, the actual reply is as follows “Thanks for your concernI haven't been able to get on the phone but I did get your emails and everything and I communicated with the team Craig is going to reach out to you.” First the reason MrCharles did not call himself is he was out of the office dealing with cancer, but even then he still went above and beyond for a studentSecond our call records indicate Craig spoke with Mr [redacted] for minutes and seconds that same day honoring MrCharles’ word to the student. It has become very clear to us here at Clever Investor that Mr [redacted] is not being truthful in his complaint, and is looking for reasons to give up on his commitmentNot just to us here at Clever but the commitment that he made to himself before coming aboard that he will do “whatever it takes” As evident from above, we honored our part to the agreement and made it perfectly clear to Mr [redacted] to be successful it will require action and commitment on his partThose are prerequisites for our mentoring program because they are integral to the student’s successHaving said that we still want to help Mr [redacted] find the success he has been looking for, and are willing to let claims of poor service on our part remain in the pastWe are more than willing to provide a plan of action to Mr [redacted] to get back on track and keep going above and beyond for himThe success he desires is possible as evident by our star Revdex.com reviews and countless testimonials

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me I will wait until for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolvedClever Investor has spoken with me at length and they have committed to restarting me with their program from the beginning, doubling the number of sessions, with additional assistance to help me work through the areas that I was having difficulty withI realize now that some of the items that I wrote to the Revdex.com about were just miscommunications between me and Clever Investor and could have been worked out independent of the Revdex.comI now understand that the Msystem will not just self generate leads, and CleverInvestor has committed that they will direct me in how to get it to be the tool I need They did tell me on their original call that I would need marketing fundsAlso, now that I have communicated to them that the different marketing needs that I have as a licensed realtor, CleverInvestor has also committed to helping me adjust the marketing to reflect those needs.Since Clever Investor has committed to making things right and to going above and beyond the original agreement I had with them, along with the misunderstanding on my part, it would be in everyone's best interest to remove my complaint from your records and I urge you to do so Regards, [redacted]

Our Accountability Mentoring is a 2-way agreementAs with any education program, students MUST do their part to achieve success That language is stated in our contract that was signed on Feb 26, 2017, he acknowledged that he ACCEPTED this. There is requirement to quitting a job to join our
program Our students work Real Estate part-time and are successful. We help students start their Real Estate Investing business To do that, students can choose to acquire the common stabusiness components These related business services are provided by outside companies, not Clever InvestorAll of our calls are logged in which our records show that complainer only called once aside from that on May 22, at 2:pm He said: “The information you receive from program you will think is informative, but program is not it sucks.”Students are not only provided with leading technology, a proven system that works, but ALSO paired with a Real Estate Expert, who has achieved MASSIVE real estate success in their own personal life. This student failed to mention that he no-showed with his mentor twice, has NOT completed his program (or his assignments), and was already given two free extra mentoring calls additionally to help get him back on track. This student has also received the following assistanceCalled by our Mindset Mentor Craig C(who specializes in helping students in gaining positive momentum)Called by Senior Mentor, Dave Lwho went as far to give this student his personal cell no’ & commitment to make himself available for additional guidance and supportCalled by Director of Student Services to help him get back on trackHas Access to Mentor Advisor Matt M, for any additional helpAccess to having his deals analyzed by our proven mentoring teamOffered more additional mentoring calls FOR FREEOffered Clever Investor's newest technology to help automate his marketing and lead generation completely complimentary

Nina signed up for our mentoring program which is a combination of training material as well as one on one calls with a mentor. The student had a total of mentoring calls with our Real Estate Mentor which range between 30-minutes each. She also requested a different mentor on occasions
which we fulfilled on. I see that in the complaint the student mentions that our Clever Labs training class was a "flop" however, at each of our training classes we give our students a feedback survey to let us know on areas we can improve on and suchIn the attachments on the survey you will see that she has marked "extremely satisfied" on both surveys. In regards to the page email for the deals that the student was working on, this was worked on with the student with her mentor directly. Our students success means everything to us which is why we have agreed to refund the student

see attachedthat was ill and we should reschedule.  That was fine and I gave him the benefit of the doubt on the first missed appointment, although it was unprofessional to wait until after the appointment time had passed to communicate with me.  I received a short call from the consultant the 19th, which he gave me a large to-do list and we scheduled a call for the 29th to talk about all the questions that I had.  Appartently the business didn't bother to report to the Revdex.com the email thread of correspondence with the consultant that may make them look unprofessional.  The 29th came and passed with me trying to contact the consultant but to no avail.I reached out to the Student Support hotline to try to contact someone that could help me talk with a real consultant that could answer my questions.  The calls on the 9th and the 11th of August, the main thing that came across from the phone representative was to join the Mentoring Program.  I am not sure if they receive a commission on that, but it sure felt that way.I then spoke with the Director of Enrollment, I did say  “I am at a pivot point in my life and I am ready to do whatever it takes”.  And I was, what the business doesn't discuss in their response to the Revdex.com was the verbal promises that were on the call that they recorded.   Director of Enrollment did ask question “what if it took you months to get your first deal under contract, could you show that kind of determination?”  and I replied in the affirmative, but he asked that question before saying that I would be generating quality leads to be working with.  They state that you must first obtain leads before you can close deals.  And the Director promised me that their system would produce leads.  No money can be made from leads, only by closing them.  But they failed to deliver leads which they advertised. They also claimed that I never did any of the assignments.  How can they possibly know that? I, definitely did the assignments and called everyone on craigslist and set up multiple appointments and met with many people.  My claim was that they didn't understand my current market like they claimed. The claim of missed appointments is true.  I have the emails from Torsten that confirm when the appointments were.  Torsten did reach out to me once while he was on vacation but that was after he had already missed his appointment that was scheduled.  I am a bit flabbergasted at the lies in the business's response to the Revdex.com and if I had more time or if the Revdex.com allows, I could elaborate more upon them.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me.  The agreement I have signed says I will be reimbursed $15,000 if I withdraw or close  my complaint, and I agreed to restrain from any further public or private discussions about my experience with the program.   I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, I will consider this complaint resolved.

I just want my money back.  I don't feel anything they offered would be beneficial to me moving forward.  I really wanted this to be my future but I don't think this company is worth any amount of for what they offer and can't deliver.  I paid a lot of money for a dream that hasn't given any results and to pay monthly payments and I can't believe spent all this time a foolish quest.  Unless they can prove to me other than try sell me on the same dream.  I work hard all my life just to earn a living and I thought this was a sure way out.  Just let me know what we could do to forward.

Clever Investor offers a 30 day money back guarantee on all their products and services.  We also go a step further and maintain a policy of granting refunds to unhappy customers or to customers that feel they will not find success from our programs. This definitely came as quite a surprise and...

once we were made aware of [redacted]'s concerns we refunded their charges immediately, even though we delivered on all of our promises.  We strongly feel this complaint is completely unfounded but would still like to remedy the situation and even offer them another opportunity with a free trial.  Our Director of Business Development tried to contact with [redacted] to resolve this situation and to receive feedback that will allow us to continue to improve on customer experience but was only able to speak with her husband, [redacted].  After speaking with [redacted], we learned that they have purchased products and / or services from a few other investment education organizations that did not produce. Because of this it was stated by [redacted] that [redacted] felt we were in the same category however, we were never given the opportunity to prove otherwise.  The customer  first purchased the Fast Track program, which consists of the M5 System, 6 Training Modules, 4 Profit Center Trainings and our pre-written Forms and Contracts in March of 2015 and our last connection with the complainant was made in April of 2015, one year ago.   It is apparent that we delivered our full training materials and guided through setting up their new system within three months of their purchase date as promised.  We tried on several occasions to follow up with them and had not had any type of communication from them since 4/10/15.  We were unaware of any situation or that they were unhappy with our products or services in any way.  The customer did not respond to any of our attempts of contact.

Hello!  We have been in regular communication with [redacted] regarding this issue and he has indicated that he is very satisfied with the resolution.  I was told he was going to be in communication with you in an attempt to withdraw the complaint and I will confirm he has indeed done this. ...

Thanks for the reminder, we definitely take customer satisfaction very serious!

one support to every student regardless of how much they spend with us.On July 10, 2017 Mr. [redacted] was contacted by one of our Business Development Consultants to conduct a custom strategy session with him, at no additional cost. During this time Mr. [redacted] was also gifted additional training to assist him in getting the most out of his upcoming strategy session. The session was scheduled to take place at 10 am PST on Saturday the 15th of July. Unfortunately for our Business Development Consultant he became ill and was not able to conduct any appointments from Thursday the 13th - Monday the 17th. At the time we were made aware of his situation, a member of our Student Support staff reached out to every appointment on his calendar, and either spoke to the student to inform them or left a voicemail. This is all documented by our phone system. When our Business Development Consultant returned to the office on Tuesday the 18th he reached out to Mr. [redacted] and conducted the strategy session. During this call Mr. [redacted] was given a lengthy list of assignments to start implementing, and was instructed to call back as soon as he had completed them or ran into roadblocks. Our Consultant went above and beyond for Mr. [redacted] as we normally only provide one session per student. Regardless of the extra help,  our consultant received no further communication from Mr. [redacted]. Instead he reached out to our Student Support hotline on August 8th to request a new Business Development Consultant, during this call there was no mention of mentoring let alone “up-selling” of any program.Mr. [redacted] was assigned a new consultant which he had another 2 calls with, one on the 9th and another on the 11th of August. At the conclusion of the first call it was very clear to Mr. [redacted] he was going to need a lot more help if he wanted to get up and running so he submitted an application for mentoring. At this time our Director of Enrollment reviewed Mr. [redacted]’s application, all the notes the second consultant had taken and a personal recommendation from that consultant. At this time a final interview was granted for Mr. [redacted].  This interview was conducted on August 16th and he was given an invitation to join the program. This was in large due to Mr. [redacted]’s unwavering statements of commitment. He stated things like “I am at a pivot point in my life and I am ready to do whatever it takes”. During Mr. [redacted]’s interview it was made extremely clear that this is an effort based program. He was told many times in many different ways that if he did not take action he would not be successful. There were never any claims that he would be making money in “3 weeks” as Mr. [redacted] states. In fact the Director of Enrollment asked him the question “what if it took you months to get your first deal under contract, could you show that kind of determination?” Mr. [redacted] answered “yes”. He, also, signed our contract that states multiple times there are no guaranteed results and that real estate and our program are effort based. Our core value is “Our Student’s Success is Our Success” and as such do whatever we can to support our students every step of the way, but at the end of the day it is up to the student to do their part and put in the necessary work.As far as the Deal Automator it was also made extremely clear to Mr. [redacted] that we would cover all hosting and maintenance fees for the length of his program, which is 6 months. After that time he would be responsible for the discounted monthly cost. This was also expressly detailed in our contract that Mr. [redacted] signed and initialled. The next complaint of Mr. [redacted]’s is that Torsten missed a mentoring call with Mr. [redacted] while on his scheduled “Vacation”. The mentorship program is not based on a 9-5 schedule, we provide flexibility to our Real Estate Experts, Mentors, and students. Torsten was still working with his students during this time. Also on Mr. [redacted]’s Google Calendar we see that the second mentoring call was scheduled for September 5th. Torsten reached out to Mr. [redacted] on Aug 28th to insure they both had that time allotted for the second mentoring call, this contact with Torsten was 7 days prior to the upcoming call.  It is important to note that Torsten reaching out proactively on August 28th was not for a scheduled call, but done as a courtesy. So the claim of a missed mentoring call is false, it just hadn’t occurred yet.Along those same lines Mr. [redacted] stated he was dissatisfied with the Success Work Assignment that Torsten gave at the end of the first call on Aug 22nd. This comes back to the root problem, no action taken by the student.  There is a lot more to this assignment then “Call Craigslist and get leads”. The intention of this exercise is to get the student out of their comfort zone, get comfortable using scripts, practice negotiating, and building rapport over the phone. The best part of this exercise, when completed, is while a student practices these real world skills they have the opportunity to actually find deals! Lastly, Mr. [redacted] stated our Director of Enrollment Mr. Charles said “he would talk to [redacted] about refunding my money; and then he would call me the next day”. We pulled the email correspondence between Mr. Charles and the student, the actual reply is as follows “Thanks for your concern. I haven't been able to get on the phone but I did get your emails and everything and I communicated with the team.  Craig is going to reach out to you.” First the reason Mr. Charles did not call himself is he was out of the office dealing with cancer, but even then he still went above and beyond for a student. Second our call records indicate Craig spoke with Mr. [redacted] for 11 minutes and 35 seconds that same day honoring Mr. Charles’ word to the student. It has become very clear to us here at Clever Investor that Mr. [redacted] is not being truthful in his complaint, and is looking for reasons to give up on his commitment. Not just to us here at Clever but the commitment that he made to himself before coming aboard that he will do “whatever it takes”.  As evident from above, we honored our part to the agreement and made it perfectly clear to Mr. [redacted] to be successful it will require action and commitment on his part. Those are prerequisites for our mentoring program because they are integral to the student’s success. Having said that we still want to help Mr. [redacted] find the success he has been looking for, and are willing to let false claims of poor service on our part remain in the past. We are more than willing to provide a plan of action to Mr. [redacted] to get back on track and keep going above and beyond for him. The success he desires is possible as evident by our 5 star Revdex.com reviews and countless testimonials.
