Mr [redacted] purchased his vehicle on the 22nd of JanuaryWhen he came to our dealership he browsed our inventory and selected this vehicleHe took it for a test drive and came back and stated that he wanted this carHe was also given the chance to take this car to a personal mechanic if he chose to as we let all customers do so if they wishWe did tell Mr [redacted] the car was mechanically sound and it was on the day of purchase and seems to be as he came in on the and picked up his plates this monthWe at this time told Mr [redacted] that at the purchase price he was given, that any and all cosmetic issues would not be fixed by the dealershipMr***s secured loan amount would not cover us doing any cosmetic repairsWe sold him the car at our discounted price due to the cosmetic issuesMr [redacted] had owned the vehicle for roughly two weeks when he had a tire blow out on himHe wanted us to replace the tireWe again let him know that we could not do any repairs of this sort due to the selling price he purchased atWe did offer to help him find a good used tire at our price in which he could pay for and save some moneyHe seemed to be fine with this resolution but then brought a family member in who demanded we replace the tire for himThe family member then stated that the tires were no goodThe car had to pass a safety inspection in order to be soldThe car did pass its vehicle inspectionAt this point in order to remedy the issue we the dealership found a complete set of good used tires and paid for themTires, mounting, and balance trying to resolve a issue that we did not have to, trying to have a happy customerWe also offered to help Mr [redacted] in buying some of the cosmetic pieces at our discounted pricing to help him outBut again he would have to pay for themWe had two other cars like the one he purchased that he could have boughtBut he wanted this one due to the lower price and what the lender would give him to purchase a vehicleMr [redacted] did sign a as is statement and understood that we were not going to fix any cosmeticsThe few cosmetics in no form or fashion have anything do with the car being mechanically soundWe have gone above and beyond what we were required to do
