I did not receive a replacement for new *** tires(still under warranty) + newer Cooper stolen when Vehicle @Mexico Motors He instead replaced the tires w/ mismatched what appears to be Junkyard tires The battery which was brand new, was disconnected, I don't know if was taken,
also car is running ruffer than previous to my bringing it in for oilpan replacement I want the tires replaced by new *** tires that were stolen thanks

I am rejecting this response because: Because Mexico Motors did give estimate for further work which he stated needed to be done(see attachments) I have a car garage plus a large driveway and street parking for many cars, I wouldn't choose to park it 1/miles away I had requested an estimate for all front end repairs prior to authorizing any work to be done on oil pan or anything else I did not want to sink money in excess of the cars value I made him aware of my good maintenance of the car and also informed him of the new tires He stated it appeared it needed just the oil pan and replacement of the damaged rim and requested payment of $in advance, which I paid After completing those repairs, he informed me he needed an additional $to replace the lower left control arm which he said was bent I again requested a full estimate for the repairs and stated that I needed vehicle safety He told me to take it to *** *** because they would give a free estimate for all work needed to be able to align properly and we would know what he needed to repair Scwab gave me different problems-tie rod ends and struts, but not lower left control arm I then brought it back to Mexico Motors, who checked suspension and gave a verbal estimate for tie rod ends of another $ I asked if these were costs in addition to the $he had estimated for control arm replacement I now have differing opinions on the work which needed to be done, but by then too late in the day to do anything further and to return the next day and maybe get another front end evaluation before proceeding I was not going to put an add'l $1,to the repairs I had already paid, it was an old car and I had already purchased a new one I wanted this a safe vehicle for my daughter I told him again that in the years I had the car, it had oil changes every 3,m and timing belts changed, car was well maintained & only had 109k miles When I returned the next day the tires & rims w/ the remaining *** tires had been stripped as well as the battery disconnected (radio had to be reprogrammed), additionally the car does not run the same, so don't know what else removed, however the vehicle was left @Mexico Motors for repairs, and the tires removed should be replaced w/ the same brand and quality as were on the car It is highly unlikely that someone unfamiliar w/ the vehicle and it's tires, would single it out in the middle of the night in a lot full of cars

Business states that they are willing to pay the retail value of the tires as long as the consumer can provide the receipt for the purchaseThe consumer must understand that two of the tires replaced are new and have a manufacturers warrantyIf consumer provides the receipt for the tires, business would be more than happy to remove the tires provided and reimburse the consumer the full retail price for all three tiresIn the event consumer is not able to produce the receipt then the business will only purchase the third tire at the cost of the other two new tires provided

Business states that they did provide services to consumer and suggested that she a second opinion from a different repair shop in regards to left lower control arm. After she gets that estimate she brings the car back to Mexico Auto Repair saying that she needed another opinion and she had no place to park the vehicle so she left it outside on property premises. That same night vehicle was stripped of 3 tires. Two in the front and one in the rear. Business provided 2 new tires in the front and the third tire installed was her own that she was carrying in her trunk. The two new  tires on the front of the vehicle do carry a warranty and consumer was made aware. Business believes they have rendered all services paid for and due to the theft of the tires have replaced them accordingly. Business had completed all services paid for to consumer. She chose to leave vehicle there at her own will. Mexico Auto Repair had no pending services with consumer at the time vehicle was left at the shop. It was only done out of courtesy to consumer.

Review: My car was left for front end evaluation & oil pan replacement, they were paid for replacing oil pan, they claimed the lower left control arm needed replacement and they showed me how left wheel position was distorted, however they had put on a 16 inch tire rather than 14 inch and I asked them to put on the correct size which the wheel no longer distorted, but still said control arm bent. They suggested [redacted] for alignment evaluation & schwab said tie rod ends need to be replaced, car was returned to Mexico Auto and I told them I would pick it up the next day to get another estimate and when I returned the following afternoon, somebody had stripped the car of rims & the nearly new [redacted] tires, they claimed "theft in the middle of the night" however they are still "working on tire replacement" promised daily, but 6 days later and I still have no car.I am afraid of what other parts have been stripped and removed from car. I have never had experience with such a dishonest business.Desired Settlement: I want full reimbursement for costs of rims & tires--my car went there in great condition, I owned for 12 years & had oil change every 3,000 miles, timing belts, water pump all replaced and general maintenance on a timely basis. Great car.

I had requested an estimate for all front end repairs prior to authorizing any work to be done on oil pan or anything else. I did not want to sink money in excess of the cars value. I made him aware of my good maintenance of the car and also informed him of the new tires. He stated it appeared it needed just the oil pan and replacement of the damaged rim and requested payment of $300 in advance, which I paid. After completing those repairs, he informed me he needed an additional $300 to replace the lower left control arm which he said was bent. I again requested a full estimate for the repairs and stated that I needed vehicle safety. He told me to take it to [redacted] because they would give a free estimate for all work needed to be able to align properly and we would know what he needed to repair. Scwab gave me 2 different problems-tie rod ends and struts, but not lower left control arm. I then brought it back to Mexico Motors, who checked suspension and gave a verbal estimate for tie rod ends of another $300. I asked if these were costs in addition to the $300 he had estimated for control arm replacement. I now have differing opinions on the work which needed to be done, but by then too late in the day to do anything further and to return the next day and maybe get another front end evaluation before proceeding. I was not going to put an add'l $1,300 to the repairs I had already paid, it was an old car and I had already purchased a new one. I wanted this a safe vehicle for my daughter. I told him again that in the 12 years I had the car, it had oil changes every 3,000 m and timing belts changed, car was well maintained & only had 109k miles.
