Normally I don't write reviews, but I hope no one must suffer through the horrible experience I had with Meyer Real Estate When we first moved into our apartment managed by Meyer Real Estate, the place was as far from clean as it could beThe carpets were full of cat hair and dirt, we were assured that they had been cleanedAfter a week or so they finally got someone out to clean it againA few months later the popcorn ceiling was starting to peel off the bathroom ceiling and fall while we were showeringWent I sent pictures and explained that the ceiling was falling on us, it's a hazard, they told us we should probably just turn the exhaust fan onI contacted them multiple times about this and finally just offered to do it myself, which they agreed to right awayThe dishwasher broke and after a week or so they replaced it, but the new dishwasher had so many problems that it flooded the kitchen (due to a faulty part) and warped the floor trapping moisture underneath itMy wife and I have horrible allergies and with the possibility of mold we called about it right awayIT TOOK NEARLY MONTHS FOR THEM TO FIX THE FLOORWe paid our rent on time every month and were the epitome of good tenantsIn March, we decided to move at the end of our lease which ended June 30, In March, I had contacted the manager and asked her what the proper steps were for moving outShe got back to me about a week later and said she would send an email highlighting what we needed to doFinally, around the beginning of June, I emailed her AGAIN asking for the list, which she eventually providedI cleaned the entire apartment and cleaned everything that the list specifically outlinedI just received my security deposit back with $taken out for cleaningThe list of things they wrote down is audacious, a few of the items to list are "stove racks dirty - now silver", and "handles cleaned - now gold", "swept and cobweb garage", and "six-panel door ledges and around handles cleaned"A few things to note that are, the stove rack was NEVER SILVER; the handles WERE TARNISHED when we moved in; IF YOU WAIT A MONTH TO CLEAN AFTER WE MOVE OUT there will be dust and cobwebs in the garage, and WE DONT HAVE ANY SIX PANEL DOORS IN OUR APARTMENT!
Either *** is crooked, or the cleaning company they use isEither way, you'd be best to avoid this place
