Review: On November 9, 2015, Jim Meyers Plumbing came to my home to fix a noisy pipe issue. This company was recommended to me by 4 of my neighbors that had used them to fix the same problem. I was told that it is a one hour job, that I needed a new regulator and the cost would be approximately $185.00. Well three hours later, after changing everything possible and even having to go back to the shop twice for parts that I really did not need or had not contracted for, the regulator was fixed at the cost of $458.10. At one point, the plumber even suggested that perhaps the water meter was too blame, took that apart and did not put it back properly. I then had to call my township to repair that mistake. I feel that the plumber sent had no idea how to fix my problem and guessed at solutions at my expense. I have contacted Meyers Plumbing twice with no results.Desired Settlement: I will pay for the parts I did not need as they are now in my home, but I should not be responsible for the extra hours of labor or the trips back to the shop for and un-stocked truck. Meyers Plumbing can refund $200.00 of my money.

When you try to find a noise, it could be several items that could be defective.The pressure regulator was not adjustable, reading too high of pressure, it was replaced. The expansion tank on the hot water tank was full of water, meaning it needed replaced. It was replaced. The #7 back check made a noise, it was replaced. We do not service water meters.When Ms. [redacted] called about her bill we offered $80.00 off the bill, but she said no and paid the invoice in full. Two company secretaries talked to her, also a third call was made to her with no response. I will refund $100,00 and no more.
