I was made aware of a complaint placed with the Revdex.com on October 1, regarding case ***My understanding of the situation is that this patient was billed for co-pay for therapy services that had been provided
Apparently the parents had inquired at each visit about paying for the co-pay and were told by the receptionist that co-pay was not dueSubsequently the parents received a bill from our billing department for these co
paysThey then made a complaint to our billing department and the Ft Wayne clinic manager
Upon investigation by our staff we discovered that there was an error in our system that didn't alert the receptionist that co-pays were dueConsequently, our clinic manager at the Ft Wayne clinic apologized to the parents for the misunderstanding and explained that there was an error in our system
At Hopebridge, we take the well-being of every patient and their families as our highest prioritySo as a courtesy to the family and due to the error being on the part of Hopebridge, we communicated to the family that we will forgive the amount due and again apologized to them
