We were referred by [redacted] to work alongside them on a time and material basis to complete electrical repairs within the kitchen at [redacted] We arrived on 7/24/and other contractors/homeowner were not prepared for arrivalWe returned on August 7th to beginWe completed work on August 13, We passed the rough inspection on august 25th completed by the town of Duxbury Inspectional Services DeptWe received an email from Mr [redacted] on September 3, stating that he was not happy with the worked performedI personally went to Mr [redacted] home to go over the work done on September 4, There was an error made by one of my electricians, and I gave Mr [redacted] a discount of ( three hours of work) on 9/14/and resent the invoiceNothing else was brought to my attention on the tripWe received the original payment of on July 30th, another payment of from Mr [redacted] on October 6, and never received the remaining balance of we sent a letter via [redacted] month later, advising Mr [redacted] that we needed to be paid or we would be taking him to small claims courtHe responded to the letter via email stating he had hired another company to "fix" our mistakes, and that he would pay the "true value " of the work performed as determined by himWe were not notified at any point that we were fired from the [redacted] home, and another electrician working under our permit is a violation of state lawWe notified Mr [redacted] that we would be proceeding with small claims court , at which point he threatened to go on social media outlets and defame our company, as well as file a complaint with youHe at that point has put numerous posts up via [redacted] , ***, and others not sharing the complete story, and ultimately making it seem as though we took advantage of him, when this was never the caseup until that point, we had tried to resolve the issue through meeting and numerous emails to no availWe sent him a certified letter with the small claims case scheduled for March 24th at 9amWe sat with mediation offered by the court clerk, and Mr[redacted] offered to pay to settle the case based on our claimWe accepted this to be done with the issue as a whole and Mr [redacted] wrote a personal check prior to leaving the court house that dayWe applied a credit of to his invoice and sent him the receiptThe matter is settled in fullPlease let me know if you need anything further from me
