Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 6, 2015/05/19) */ I have researched account # [redacted] and that account according to our records closed on 6-30-The account is gone from the main system and no longer reporting to the credit bureaus If the account number is incorrect, I can research that one but under the one we were given it is already gone from our open files I might suggest that she file a dispute with the credit bureau and they can send that to us and we can verify the account closed and return that informationSometimes that works really well

Our loan interest is daily interest so you save money by paying off early. The customer would have had to pay an additional $if they had paid on the loan as originally calculated. By paying early they saved the $that they would have had to pay if they had continued on the
contract as written. I think the customer may have gotten confused by the way it was presented originally to them. We apologize if they got the wrong information. This letter is in response to your recent claim regarding account #XXXXXXXXXXXXX, which you claim that the account was a charge-off/paid in full.
By not replying in a timely manner to my initial letter on March 22, 2017, you have not only violated federal and state laws, but you have also failed to provide me with a copy of any viable evidence, bearing my signature, showing the account is being reported accurately.
Be aware that I am making a final goodwill attempt to have you clear up this matter. The listed item is entirely inaccurate and incomplete, and represents a very serious error in your reporting.
I am maintaining a careful record of my communications with you for the purpose of filing a complaint with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and the Attorney General's office, should you continue in your non-compliance of federal laws under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and the corresponding local state laws. I further remind you that you may be liable for your willful non-compliance.
Failure on your behalf to provide a copy of any alleged contract or other instrument bearing my signature may result in a small claims action against your company.
I would be seeking a minimum of [redacted] in damages per violation for:
· Defamation
· Negligent Enablement of identity Fraud

In response to the above mentioned complaint to the Revdex.com of Northern Indiana, we offer the following information in an attempt to help clarify the matter.
If it is not requested and approved to refinance a loan to remove an existing borrower,...

the loan will continue to be the responsibility of the original signors at the time the loan was initially granted.
All collection and loan correspondence is mailed to all borrowers to the addresses on file. Phone correspondence is also made to the phone numbers listed on the account. New contact information is requested by CommunityWide in order to continue correspondence with borrowers regarding account activity and debt collection.
Due to the age of the account and its current status, the account has been turned over to a third party for attempted collection. It is recommended that Ms. [redacted] contact the credit union for referral to the collecting party for collection arrangements to try to resolve or reduce the impact of the account to her credit report.

Nothing was done to help resolve complaint. Phone number on file was correct.

I am rejecting this response because:
TThe gentleman ( [redacted] told me via email that the interest came out of the 149 a month payment. When I multiplied the 149 payment by the remaining months I got the same amount as the payoff when I paid it. So therefore I paid the interrst for the remainder of those months. If rhe interest wasnt included in the 149 I could see paying the full amount. But as he stated the interest comes out of the 149 a month. And when I paid it off I paid 149 x 13 (remainder of the months of the loan) which was 1937 and some change. So according to tim if the interest comes out of the 149 I paid principal and interest for those months when I paid it off. I can send those emails from him if needed

unkown at the time to the primary borrower. This has led to confusion and caused ACH payments to be returned. At the request of the primary borrower, any previously authorized recurring ACH payments have been canceled. Due to the members unsatisfactory experience in resolving these payment issues with CommunityVVide, we have reversed all fees previously charged by our credit union that were a result of return payment items.
