MGM Home Remodel

Review: I hired these contractors in 2010 to remodel a HUD property that I purchased. The project should have been completed in 6 months but instead took them 9 months. They had a snow plowing business that they deemed more important them finishing my home. They would always make other jobs more important than finishing my home. They also would take vacation without notifying me that they would not be working on my home.One particular problem was there was a leak in my roof after they repaired the roof. I contacted them in February/March 2013 informing them of the leak in my roof. They kept telling me that they would be out to look at it but never showed and never let me know that they werent coming. I had to hire another roofer and he stated that the roof was never repaired correctly and that cost me $1750.I am currently selling my house. The buyers had an inspector come to the house and I need to place a water meter on my house. [redacted] County Water is coming Monday morning to inspect my home. There is a switch in my basement that will connect the house to public water or well. On 5/30/2014, I texted them to ask where the switch was and they replied that they cant remember and asked me if I actually expected them to remember. When I replied, "Nope, I dont think much of you two. It was worth asking." I received this reply, "[redacted]". I dont appreciate how they blew me off when needed repairs and I especially do not appreciate that language.I also received an inspection report from the buyer of my house and there was list of unfinished electrical work that they were paid for.Desired Settlement: I would like $1750 for the roof and $1500 for electrical work.
