I purchased a modem from this company and within 2 months it was no longer working. The customer service told me the equipment must be faulty and he wanted me to PURCHASE another. It took a couple of DAYS to finally speak with the manager and he approved exchanging the modem at no charge. Within 2 months again, faulty equipment and AGAIN he wanted me to PURCHASE another modem. This time I didn't play games, I told him to just cancel my service and he gave in and replaced the equipment at no charge. This is ridiculous customer service!!!!! It shouldn't take speaking to a manager to resolve every issue. They gave me no discount for my troubles and continue to provide terrible internet service.Desired Settlement: FOR THIS COMPANY TO IMPROVE CUSTOMER SERVICE, IMPROVE INTERNET SERVICE, IMPROVE EQUIPMENT QUALITY AND BECOME A BETTER COMPANY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.The product you sold me did not last more than 2 months. The product you replaced it with did not last more than 2 months. There is a problem when that is okay with a company. I cringe at the thought of the elderly in this county being treated that way as well.

(MGW) in response to the complaint of [redacted](“complainant”).In reviewing the complaint filed by the Complainants, MGW would advise as follows:1) MGW values each and every customer and apologizes that Ms. [redacted] had a less thansatisfactory experience. MGW invests more each year in improving its customer service thanany other metric. Not only does MGW seek to ensure each customer is satisfied but also toprovide the best Internet service possible.2) In relation to the modem complaint that Ms. [redacted] mentioned, the complainant has hadservice since January of 2015. Complainant has had to replace the modem one time sinceinstallation. As a onetime gesture, because the modem was relatively new, MGW did agree toreplace the modem at no charge. However, in the future a replacement modem would eitherhave to be purchased or leased. MGW uses manufacturer certified products for quality andintegrity. Review: Wireless internet dish was placed on my house about six months ago. my service has been intermittent over the past several months. I had found that the dish had fallen off the chimney, it was secured only by a couple of screws. The chimney brick is 170 years old and is extremely brittle and loose. The technician should have know that the dish was not secure when he installed it. If you try to drill a hole in the brick even now, it will crumble.

MGW [redacted] sent out a repairman and the the dish was reinstalled more securely in a different location on the roof. I was billed and charged for this repair; I am disputing the charge!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The dish was improperly installed initially and I should not be charged for the poor workmanship. Securing the dish on a chimney were the brick is crumbling is of poor judgement. I could see if there was a tornado or storm in the area, but there was not!!! The [redacted] thing just fell off the roof under normal conditions!!!

There was no "act of nature" or neglect from my standpoint, the dish was never installed correctly the first time. I am extremely upset that I have to spend my time making a complaint.Desired Settlement: I want to be reimbursed for the charge of reinstalling the dish and to be credited for the loss of service for the 10 days.
