Mi Tienda

After losing my car in the potholes by the pump at Mi Tienda on [redacted], I realized the credit card machines on the pumps, which were falling apart, were taped over. I parked and went inside to pay. I waited in line patiently as the lady behind the counter tried to figure out a man's request with a money order. Several minutes later, she then rudely asked me what I needed. I proceeded to hand her my credit card and asked her to turn the pump on (while holding the card) so I could fill up. She then said, "What you mean? That make no sense." I explained to her how I wanted to fill up, and just like most people, don't necessarily know how much gas/$ I need. She proceeded to tell me, "You make no sense." After I went outside to estimate how much gas I would need with how much I had in my tank, I went back inside. Upon arriving back inside, the lady rudely said with a cocky tone, "It make sense now don't it?" I told her it still doesn't and then asked for $40 in gas (as an estimate). She then slid the card back at me and told me to go somewhere where it did make sense. At that moment, I asked to see the manager/owner, and he was no better. He was extremely rude, just as she was. His main point to me was that they serve people in whatever way they want, and I should deal with it or go. Obviously, I went, and while I am not one to nitpick at businesses, this was unacceptable and a prime example of extremely poor taste and customer service. The business is clearly a new business with a new owner and new staff, however that is certainly not the way to kick things off. In a time when many gas stations are popping up and available, this one certainly set itself apart for all the wrong reasons. I will not be returning to this place and will encourage others in the area to not do so either.Desired SettlementWhat I would like to see is a better display of customer service from these people, not for me, but for their future customers. These people need to know that was a poor display of customer service. There's really not much more concrete that can be done, as it is highly, highly unlikely I will be returning or patronizing their business.
