Our staff informed [redacted] at the time she originally called to cancel, she would have to pay the remaining balance of the dress or for go her deposit as it was almost finished from the manufacturer. This is fully disclosed and agreed upon at the time of purchase. The customer and her fiancé went on to our social media and made slandering remarks without justification by full disclosure of the purchase she made and the time line she informed us to cancel. Review: I purchased a wedding dress at Mia Bella couture for my wedding that was scheduled for September 2015. I paid the deposit of the wedding dress then a few weeks later found out my father was diagnosed with brain cancer. Due to this tragic diagnosis we decided to move our wedding date up so he could see us get married. I explained to Mia Bella what was happening and how I would no longer need to dress since it wouldn't be ready in time for the new date. The owner was extremely rude and not sympathetic and told me the only option I had was to forfit the deposit of the dress. I gave them many months notice and they still were nothing but rude. It was a very popular dress and I know they would have no problem selling it to a bride that would need it sooner. I am disgusted at their customer service and lack of sympathy. I received a call a few days ago from a sales associate telling me she was still looking into this and haven't heard anything back. They are a bunch of liars that keep making up excuses to keep people's money.Desired Settlement: I would like my deposit for the dress back. I don't care if it's against their store policy. They were extremely rude and unprofessional and don't deserve a dollar.

Review: I ordered an pearl wedding dress style# P784 on 12-28-12 from Mia Bella Couture LLC in Del Mar, CA 92012 for my daugters wedding on 05-18-13. The dress somehow ended up at the Mia Bella Couture LLC store in Fresno, California. The wedding dress designer-brand manufacturer is [redacted] Bridals. I paid $724 dollars total that included the dress cost of $499,a $125 rush fee, and a $100 fee to add a custom hollow to hem of an additional 4 inches to the dress. The dress was to be delivered by March 20th, 2013. I started emailing and calling [redacted] the week of March 27th and was told that it would be delivered next week, Next week came, and still no dress, and after several emails and calls to [redacted], he replied in an email that he was trying to get answer from [redacted] on the date the dress would be finished and shipped to him at Mia Bella Couture LLC store in Del Mar, California. The dress was shipped and delivered on April 3rd to the to Mia Bella's Couture store in Fresno, California located at [redacted]1, Fresno, CA 93720. [redacted] told someone at Mia Bella Couture in Fresno to ship out to us and no one inspected the dress and it was sent to our home on April 4th and arrived April 10th, 2013. The dress was three weeks and one day late. We opened the box; the dress was dirty up by the zipper on the back of the and several places near on the train and the hemline. The extra 4 inches of length wasn't added to the hemline. My daughter is 5ft 10 inches tall. We called [redacted] at Mia Bella and he asked us to send him the pictures, in which we did, he sent on Friday April 12th a Fed Ex ground shipping package to send the dress back to [redacted] Bridals returns department in Bartlett, TN. Per [redacted], the dress will be cleaned, and the 4 inches added to the hemline. I ask myself, why does a supposedly new wedding dress need to be cleaned, and why wasn't the 4 inches added to the hem? I paid the rush fee because I was initially told that the dress would be delivered on May 15, 2013 if no rush fee.Desired Settlement: (1).My first settlement option is I would like a refund of the $724 dollars is the preferable settlement.(2). My second settlement option is I would also accept a brand new Allure Bridals P784 style dress with the addiitonal 4 inches hollow to hem added.(3) My third settlement option is to have the existing Allure wedding dress style # P784 cleaned and the additional 4 inches customer hollow to Hem added. Have dress fixed, cleaned and delivered to our home by April 26th at the latest.

Response:

Mr [redacted] provideed the sizing and measurements to his daughters dress. We hold no responsiblity if his measurements were not to his satisfaction. As you can see we have attached a letter from [redacted] advising that the four inches Mr. [redacted] requested were accurate. As for any cleaning [redacted] did clean the dress and have since returned it to our store. We cannot provide Mr [redacted] with a new dress as he would like the sizing would be the same outcome. Unfortunately we cannot ship the cleaned bridal gown to Mr [redacted] as it requires he provide us with a cashiers check as he has stopped his creidt card payment he provided us with.

Please feel free to contact us, thank you.

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

It is easy for [redacted] to try and pass the blame to me the customer on why that the dress he ordered did not have the 4 inches added. I have discussed this with Mr. [redacted] the CFO at [redacted] Bridals in Bartlett, Tennessee. as well. I also have received a fax copy of the order and some how the 4 inches were not added, because if you look at the picture when my daughter tried it on , even in her bare feet the dress was short, just barely touching the floor in the back so therefore she can't where this dress and a heel at all.

Also, a supposedly brand new dress arrived at our home dirty in several places on the bottom side and on the back by the buttons in which I have pictures.

I thank [redacted] Bridals for cleaning the dress. The question that need to be askedd, and what would you think if your supposedly brand new wedding gown arrived dirty in several places? The bottom line is someone at Mia Bella Fresno or a customer or at the [redacted] manufacturing plant in China or where ever tried this dress on, it had make-up and other soil on it.

Again, the length of the dress we received was the exactly the same length of the [redacted] P784 gown my daughter tried on in NC that was to short as well with heels. My mistake was choosing Mia Bella Couture an [redacted] Bridal retailer out of state. As I told Mr. [redacted] this dress is no good to us, because somehow in the process the 4 inches were not added, so I respectfully disagree with [redacted] and [redacted]'s length assessment in this regards. This dress again is standard off the rack sample length. We will never agree on this length thing, but one thing is for sure it is way to short for my daughter.

Regards,

Response:

Mr [redacted] is not owed anything as he stopped payment on his credit card. To address his issue please refer to the following:

1. Clark [redacted] provided the request for additional 4 " in length

2. [redacted] provide proof the additional 4" were added to the length

3. [redacted] resolved the issue of any dirty spots by cleaning said dress

4. Because Mia Bella Couture has no payment for said dress therefore there is no

further resolution required
