My company would like to begin to thank you for bringing the situation to light and allowing us an opportunity to respond to the claim filed with your organization.
Our [redacted] is a rental liaison to prospective residents and assists Property Managers with showings and other related tasks.  At the time our staff spoke about the home with the other tenant named on the lease and to the [redacted] of a tenant named on the lease, they were verbally informed that a washer and dryer was not included however a washer and dryer had been left in the garage by a former tenant.  Prior to signing the lease, the tenants were told if they wanted to try these items and they worked, they could keep them at no charge.  We further informed them that if they connected them and the items were not in operable condition we would be happy to haul them away at NO charge. Additional information was provided at the time that a piece of molding entering the garage needed to be replaced, house needed
to be cleaned and some other miscellaneous items needed to be repaired.
The residents took possession on December 31, 2015 and our maintenance company has made those specified repairs with multiple follow up calls from our company in the week of January 4th – 11th.  During a visit to the property from the maintenance company, the residents had not connected the washer and dryer to see if the appliances worked.  The office was informed January 13, 2016 an attempt was made to connect and discovered a part was needed.  The cost and order of the part was approved and we are currently awaiting arrival of such.
Our company prides itself on how well we have conducted business since we began in 2011.  The practices of this company does not include nor have tolerance for deceptive, extortive behavior.  We consistently deliver excellent service and communicate with our clients to ensure satisfaction.  Unfortunately, this tenant took the time to place a complaint with your organization rather than communicate when solicited to resolve any issue he or she may have had.
