Mia Shower Doors Reviews (3)

Paid MIA Shower Doors a deposit for new shower glass installation, six months and still no shower or refund. We hired Mia Shower Doors to replace our dated glass shower enclosure as part of a larger bathroom remodel. [redacted] and [redacted] visited our home, removed our existing enclosure, took detailed measurements, and helped us decide on the best style to fit our bathroom. We placed a 50% deposit with them in late July 2015 to order the glass. We were informed at the time that the turn-around was typically 3-4 weeks. It is now 2016 and we still do not have our new enclosure. We can accept delays, what is unacceptable is the lack of communication. Our calls, texts, and emails have gone mostly unanswered. The one exception was an answered phone call and even then we were told they would call us back in a few days. We were never called back. We are concerned that we have been swindled out of our 50% deposit. Desired SettlementWe would like a refund of our deposit.Mia Shower Doors has satisfactorily fulfilled it's contract with us. Our shower has been installed and is working perfectly.

Gave Mia Shower Doors a $2,000 deposit for work. No communications since check was cashed.Gave Mia Shower Doors a check for 2,000 for a shows door system to be installed in our house. This August 12th. After the check was cashed, cannot reach anyone with the company. Contact info is: [redacted]. Email is: "[redacted]Desired SettlementJust return our deposit in full. We will find another vendor.Business Response Unfortunately, I did encounter some serious health issues that caused me to be physically unable to meet my commitments in a timely manner. Now that I have recovered and physically able to work again, I am committed to satisfy my obligation or providing a refund of any deposits placed. I would like to express my sincere apologies for the situation and desire for a positive resolution. We are a family owned and operated business that temporarily encountered an unfortunate set of circumstances, but we are back on track. We have tried multiple times to contact the client and still hoping to come to resolution very soon.Consumer Response We will accept a refund of our $2,000 deposit in full. A full refund and we will not have to involve lawyers, the courts, sheriff deputies, liens against personal property and etc.Thank you,[redacted]Final Business Response We have been in contact with client to arrange for refund of deposit.

Got quote and paid 50% deposit ($1700) in early August toward shower glass surround and glass shelving for bathroom renovation they will not respond. My Wife and I are seeking a full refund of our deposit ($1700.00 by personal check) on Shower Glass surround and glass shelving. Due to a water leak we had to gut and renovate our master bathroom. We had Mia Shower Doors ([redacted] and [redacted] Co-owners) come out in early August, (August 6 per the invoice #XXXXXX) to take measurements and provide a quote. We paid our 50% deposit that night-$1700-only to receive the "contract" via email a couple of days later that said it was non refundable, and gave the time frame to expect the enclosure by. We were "told" before handing over the check it could be 5 days-or it could be 3 weeks. We are at 2 months and counting now. They have broken the contract, and we cannot get them to respond to any phone calls, e-mails or texts, other than 2 phone calls (1 about 3-weeks back Sep 20 and 1 a week back Oct 6), and we were told by [redacted] we would be called back next day and that first his wife was sick, then secondly he had been sick-which never happened. We e-mailed 28-Aug and 4-Sept none of which were acknowledged. I can accept delays, but the complete lack of communication is unheard of. They basically took our money eventually e-mailed us the invoice/contract and have not communicated what so ever with us. At this point, we would really like our money back so we can get this project finished by a reliable company-one that if there is a problem in the near future, I can expect a them to come out during a warranty time. Their Voice Mail was full but apparently it has been emptied in the last week but they still do not respond to any of our voicemails or texts. I rode to the storefront and it is empty, except for a couple pieces of glass. There is no name on the business front either (looks vacated). All we desire is our money back-$1700 so we can move on and find a new installer.Desired SettlementRefund in full of $1700 (the required 50% Deposit by the owners to order the glass)Business Response Unfortunately, I did encounter some serious health issues that caused me to be physically unable to meet my commitments in a timely manner. Several clients were affected. I have reached out to this client for resolution.Consumer Response one of the owners resolved a medical issue they completed the work to our satisfaction. We are satisfied now.
