An email was sent to the person filing the complaintThe office at Omega Drive, never received any information with the insurance informationWe process and scan mail that comes into this officeIn an email response from the person who filed, insurance information was supplied and the claim was filed to insuranceThe distance from pick up and drop off was also mapped on Google maps and it was the same distance as to what was billed at milesThere is a longer route to take at miles, but that was not takenthe shortest route was the one that the provider utilized.Once the insurance company has processed this claim, we will address any balance left over

Claim has been billed to the patients insurance policyWe show no record of the insurance card making it to the office, but we made contact with where he was transported and was able to obtain enough information to bill out to his insuranceAny remaining balance there is, is adjusted

The company claims they did not receive my multiple emailsI dispute that, since I used THEIR online email response system three times, and I emailed a particular customer service representative after she gave me her email addressAlso, a supervisor at the company emailed a response to me very soon after I submitted my complaint to your agency. It is true that the matter is resolvedFollowing my complaint, my multiple calls and emails, and contact from my insurance company, they finally sent the bill to the correct insurance company for payment.

I would ask that you show what address that the statements were sent to and the timeframes that they were sent. We process mail everyday at this office and these types of submittals are handled by a specific department. We have not had this problem in the past, so I would next have to get with the post office to verify why these were not received.As for the mileage, this charged amount is given to us by the actual fie company and not mandated by DMMS, LLC. This fee per mile is on the national average for an emergency transportation provider. Once again, this is not something that DMMS is responsible before as a business. I will relay that complaint directly to the fire company, but that has nothing to do with the business we conduct.

There is a longer route to take at 7.6 miles, but that was not taken. the shortest route was the one that the provider utilized.Once the insurance company has processed this claim, we will address any balance left over.
