Bad service meds to be refunded
Our safety and personal comfort was compromised by the staff of Miami Water Sports/305 Watersports. No regard or compassion was given for the inexperience of the passengers *** the boat.
With the intent of parasailing, we went out of the water yet quickly encountered a storm. Adamant it would pass, the "captain" chose to wait it out. Over the course of 30 minutes still waiting for the rain, thunder and lightening to pass, we asked multiple times for the boat "captain" to take us back to shore. We wanted to forfeit the trip. However, each time, the "captain" instead took us further and further away from dock. And each time, the storm followed with more thunder and lightning ensuing.
After an hour on the water we eventually pulled to shore more than 15 miles away from where we started to "wait out the storm". Again, against the will and many requests of ALL passengers, here we waited 30 minutes in the rain that never ceased. Then, finally your "captain" decided to take us back to the our starting point through further rain and high wind.
This has been the most horrific experience, again being kept against our will, through weather that's uncommon to one not familiar with Miami.
Of course we were refused a refund and given soooo many excuses as to why it couldn't be. From the manager was not available and they aren't allowed to contact him to it's not their fault so there's nothing they can do.
I get they couldn't control the weather, but they didn't have to keep us on the water and in the cold rain for over 90 minutes. Ridiculous!

Full refund for all members of my party

The safety of our customers is our main priority. The captain will always make sure to keep all of our customers safe.

As the boat made its way to the middle of the bay to begin parasailing operation, a storm formed which was not predicted by any weather channel that are crew uses prior to any activity departure.
The captain of the boat made the right decision to not begin parasailing activity and keep everybody safe aboard the boat.

Unfortunately the storm made it not safe for the boat to navigate back to the original departure point, the captain of the boat took charge and made a safety decision of taking the customers to a safe marina located in the other side of the bay, it was located on the opposite side of the storm.
This detour did cause customers to wait longer and not be able to parasail until the storm cleared out.
We are very sorry if some customers did not appreciate the wait, but our company does not play with safety, we rather have them complain and post negative reviews about our company, then causing an accident or fatality.

Keep in mine that the boat is coast guard inspected, everyone was given the opportunity of wearing a life preserver, and all safety equipment was aboard of the vessel.

This response does not address my experience. It's nice to know how they will handle future situations, but nothing described even parallels to what actually occurred. The author of this was not on the boat as this account doesn't align with actual events.
The wait described was due to the captain's failure to make a right decision. A concern for safety would have led the boat to shore well before it did. The passengers had to beg and complain to go to safety. The captain wanted to wait out the storm on the water.

Again that is our company cancellation / refund policy, your credit will never expire with us, we have already made a note on our system.

Im sorry about this again but that is the policy and it does not only affect local customers, it is for everyone.

If you have any other concerns other then a refund we will be glad to answer your questions, however if it is still about the same issue which we have addressed multiple times already, we are no longer going to be replying to your comments.

Miami Watersports choice to stand by their poor service and policy is not an acceptable resolution. It's that simple.
