The tenant's use of the space was sorting and scraping of discarded books; a dirty and very hard use on the building
The Revdex.com complaint notice dated May 21, indicates that "by submitting your response, you
are representing that it is a truthful account......" That is by no means an accurate statement relating to this complaint
When tenant notified us they were vacating at the end of their lease, we toured the property with the tenant, they were advised that because the space was not vacated, we could not check for all damageWe had a professional relationship with tenant until the end of the lease, when extensive damage was discoveredOnce we received the vacant space, we found additional forklift damage; i.e., thermostats were damaged beyond repair, a office door that had been hit by a forklift, and further wall damage not seen in our earlier tour
We obtained appropriate quotes and shared them with the tenantWe then worked hard to reach a mutually-agreeable settlement
Our final email exchange dated May 28, 2015, reflects the tenant is OK with the negotiations and he states "thanks ***, I appreciate that and would like that as well."
It has been our understanding throughout this entire vacation of the premises that everything was being accepted as proposedNever did we get the impression the tenant was disgruntledWe also understand that he is preparing a document to nullify the original complaint
