Dr Adornato was recommened by my current dentist Dr [redacted].

went for initial consulation on procedure to be performed & spoke w/office staff & Dr. Adornato about them getting approval from our insurance carrier to authorize payment for procedure.

several week went by & finally recieved contact from his office informing me procedure was approved for payment by ins. carier & set a date & time to have procedure performed.

went to office for procedure & was told had to pay in full cash at that time. we were given paperwork that we were told was already filled out for us & to simply submit it to our carrier for riembursment.

several more weeks went by w/no riembursment when we did recieve a check in the amount of $ 40.00 for a $ 285.00 procedure. we were informed by our ins. carrier that Dr. Adornato's was not in there network of coverage & they would not be riembursing us! spoke w/Dr [redacted]'s office & asked them to contact Dr. Adornato's office to explain our dissapointment in there business practices.

we were then informed by Dr [redacted]'s office that Dr. Adornato's office informed them - there was nothing they could do.

we have one of the best ins. policys in NYS there is a reason we pay premium pricing to have that policy - as to not have lg. out of pocket medical expenses!

there are two more steps we will take, should we feel the need to esclate this matter to our satisfaction.

This seemed to be a very deceptive business transaction!
