Michael C. Daily Design Consultants Reviews (1)

Sorry for the delay responding to this complaint. I have been out of town on a family emergency and just returned on the 26th of 2015. There are three exhibits attached to this reply. Note: Due to file email attachment size (large PDF files/sizes) multiple emails were sent to Mr. [redacted]...

containing all of the documents (Plans) he ordered. We break the emails down to sizes less than 10 megabytes each in order to assure delivery of emails. This is a common practice to make sure the emails are received by the customer. Exhibit “A” contains copies of emails and attachments of the stock plan order dated April 6th, 2015. He received the stock house plan 1268 the same day he ordered the plans. (See attached Exhibit “A”). Exhibit “B” contains copies of the emails of the casita he ordered with his requested changes. They were sent to him on the 27th of April 2015. Exhibit “C” contains a unreadable copy of the site information he provided to us to make a site plan. Narrative of the events that took place are as follows:On or about April 6th 2015 we were contacted by [redacted] regarding the purchase of one of our stock plans [redacted]. We also discussed with him ordering a second plan [redacted], a detached casita plan as well as a site plan. The Casita plan required changes requested by the customer.  Mr. [redacted] paid our firm a total of $1,850.00 for both plans with changes to the casita plan and a site plan. We explained to Mr. [redacted] that the changes to the casita plan would take 7-10 business days to complete the changes. We agreed to expedite those changes and performed them in a timely manner as with all orders.  A conference call was scheduled to discuss changes a couple of days later. Mr.[redacted] was not available to discuss those changes because he was working on his “Taxes” with April 15th approaching fast. We connected a day or two later which caused a minor delay due to him not being available. We connected and discussed changes and provided those changes to him after our conference call. He approved them and they went right into production for working drawings. A site plan was also needed however Mr. [redacted] did not have the proper information and was unable to provide the information to complete the site plan. He did provide us with a copy of a copy of a copy of a very old (1940’splat) of the lot. It was not readable and did not have the required information. (See Exhibit “C” attached) His lot was from an older development plat outside of [redacted] from back in the 1940’s. There was not enough information for us to properly complete the site plan. We requested a legal description. We were not provided that information. We informed Mr. [redacted] that we could not prepare the site plan without proper information and instructed him to either have a survey done of his lot or provide us with the necessary information otherwise we could not prepare the site plan. This angered Mr. [redacted] but we could not prepare the site plan based on the information that he had. We offered to refund him $100.00 and that he couldhave the site plan prepared locally by a surveyor who could research andprepare the site plan. The bottom line here is that the customer received all of the documents in avery timely manner as promised. His claim is completely false and deceptive. He received the house plans 1268 the same day he ordered them. (See Exhibit“A”) Advertised value of plans from our plan book or our website of our houseplan is $1,150.00.  He received the casita plan 5020B with his changes April 27th, 2015. (SeeExhibit “B”) Advertised value of plan is $600.00, plus changes were delivered. Regrettably the site plan was not completed due only to the fact he could notprovide the information to accurately prepare the site plan. We offered arefund of $100.00. We never heard back from Mr. [redacted] regarding him exceptingthe refund. Here is the kicker. On or about May 11th 2015, a full two weeks after receiving the house plan and casita with his changes he contacts his Credit Card Company and makes the same claims to them about never receiving said documents. A charge back to my account in the amount of $1,850.00 occurs on May 11th, 2015.At this point He has complete working drawings of both the house and casita plan and he has his money back.  We chose not to argue the charge back because ultimately we want our clients to be happy with our plans and services. $1,850.00 is an incidental amount of money compared to a happy client so we chose to let him keep his money and the plans.  However with that said, a complaint to the Revdex.com is not acceptable. He has his plans and he has his money. We delivered his plans, both the house plan and casita with his changes as promised and in a timely manner. Not completing the site plan because of his failure to provide the necessary information should not allow us to be damaged by false claims. Look at the attachments and dates. It’s obvious his claims are false and in fact lies.  Look at what he claimed and what we provided. Look at the dates. Look at the evidence. If anyone has been damaged or wronged it is us. My company.  I appreciate your time with regard to this matter and believe you will agree we provided exactly what we offered to Mr. [redacted] in full, on time and basically without payment as he has been fully refunded his $1,850.00. Feel free to contact me directly at any time for any questions or if you need additional documents to back up our side of the story. The true side of the story We appreciate your consideration of the facts, times and dates and trust you will agree this claim by Mr. [redacted] holds no truth whatsoever and should not harm our reputation as a firm in good standing. We look forward to your reply and resolution in this matter. Sincerely,  [redacted] Michael C Daily Design Consultants LLC[redacted] (Mobile)[redacted]
