We had a solar installation company complete a project for us on July 2018 using engineering drawings from Michael Miele PE. It came to our attention on Nov 27 2018 that upon never having received the CO from our town for the installation that the solar company deviated substantially from those approved and submitted plans. I have repeatedly tried contacting both the solar company and Mr. Miele to no avail. Both numbers ring until I am disconnected. No voicemail either. If you are a licensed business anywhere you should at the very least have voicemail or an answering service. My inquiry to Mr. Miele is merely to inform him of the work deviation from his plans and get him to redraw new plans for the installation as performed so we can get our CO from the town. This being the only recourse as verbally told to me by our town Building Inspector. Hopefully Mr. Miele is still in business and you can intercede on our behalf. The pics submitted show original plans with areas marked by Building Inspector as modified,changed and not to Building code.

Review: On May 2013 we accepted a proposal from Michael E. Miele professional engineer to perform a survey of our property, design the foundation and sewer system for our new house. [redacted] has consistently breeched the contract through lack of performance, dishonest communications and ignoring our calls or emails which has seriously delayed our project (17 month). Our mistake was that we trusted him and paid him almost in full ($5000) and now that he doesn't have a lot to collect he has abandoned the engineering project. At this point the entire project is ready to file with architectural and engineering drawings complete filing for the permit can not be made without his drawings which will require us to start over with a new engineer which will cost us as much or more then it did to get us to this point and it will take months to get the work done delaying our project.Desired Settlement: We either need your help to get Michael E Miele, P.E. to finish the project or to get back what we have paid him already ($5000)plus $35000 penalty to make up for all our damages he has caused us to including the higher costs for construction due to his delays and hiring a new engineer to perform the survey and design work.
