Went to Gemini Eye Center for a pair of glasses.My glasses were tinted a rose shade when I bought themmonths before my prescription would be expired.My tint went away.I went to Gemini asked them to fix the problem.My glasses were orange when they were done with the tint.I took them back they informed me they would do a gray blue tintThese glasses were tinted way too dark.I went back again to see if they could lighten the tint so I could see.They did soMy problem was why did they tint my glasses way to dark? I have no eye insuranceI am not happy with the service and coments said by staff members when I needed help with my glassesI have a very strong prescriptionI plan on going to another eye place
First, I requested a specific doctor but was given a deferrent one once there. Second, at the end of the pretest they ask me to move to another machine. Out of curiosity I ask what it was and if it was covered by insurance. They said it was a test not covered but they they discounted the price to $39. Had I not ask I would have had to pay the charge. Then the eye exam with the doctor was less than 5 minutes. I knew when I saw the prescription we had a problem unless my eyes suddwnly improved. They had 2 frames in the range of my insurance. I had my eyes rechecked at a different eye doctor and they perception was off .75 on both eyes. I will not be returning.
I just want everyone out there to know that Gemini Eye care is not a good place to take your children been going there three years now and put a lot of money into glasses. I told someone I was taking my kids there and said thats not a real doctor to got to [redacted] and see [redacted] so I did. He was great and guess what neither of my kids needs or needed glasses or have stigmatism like Gemini Eye care said they did. I had to purchase glasses two years in a row because one year he said it was in one eye and the next year in both. I am so mad and ticked I spent all this money on glasses and had my children wear glasses that could of hurt their eyes. Also I just had my eyes checked in April and told me I had a stigmatism and I orderd a expensive pair of glasses who knows if they are right for my eyes- Now I have to wait another year to know and refuse to wear my glasses now with all this false information they have given me over the past few years.
