We received the consumers complaintShe use to reside at *** *** *** Management had seen on channel news that a shooting had occurred at her exact address(The news reported her exact address, not in the parking lot.) Management then
went to her apartment out of concern for her well beingShe stated that a shooting had not occurred there.When we went to check on the tenant, three young men were running from her apartment and we asked who they were and what was going on and the tenant herself informed us that was her boyfriend with his friends and he was trying to get items out of her apartment because the news reported her address on the news and he was engaged in illegal activity out of her apartment(Selling drugs) Therefore management had to bar her boyfriend from the property because of the admitted illegal activity and he was not on the leaseHe had also threatened the staffManagement later found that a shooting had occurred at the complex at another unitWe asked security to patrol more often for the safety of all tenantsShe did have a missing money order that she said that she had dropped in the drop box and we did not receiveWe stated that she needed to trace the money order to find out what happenedOur drop box was not damaged and no sign that it was broken intoShe was told to report the money order was stolen and to report back to let us know what she found outShe came back and stated that the money order was cashedI told her to find out who cashed the money order and to prosecute if needed and she would still be responsible for September's rentWe have not received a police report concerning the money orderShe submitted a notice to vacate on Dec29th stating that she will vacate the unit on Jan 31st because she felt unsafeThis makes her still responsible for January's rentShe has not paid Sept., Decor January's rentManagement maintains that she is responsible for all owed rent
