Review: Back in August of 2014 I had to go to O'Gorman's because my front left wheel bearing broke. I was only a mile from O'Gorman's at the time it happened so it was the closest I could go without a tow. They informed me that both wheel bearings needed to be replaced. I agreed and thought everything was great. On December 27, 2014 I was driving to [redacted]. I left earlier than initially anticipated so it was about 1pm local time between [redacted] and [redacted] when my front left wheel started to make noise. I didn't want to drive on it, fearing it was my wheel bearing. AAA towed my car to the nearest auto body shop (which was closed). Come Monday my car had to be moved to a dealership in Fort Wayne, IN. The Honda dealership showed me the wheel bearing and told me there was a piece missing. They also informed me that it happened from one of two reasons: defective part or bad installation. I went back to O'Gorman's and they refunded me the original part. But that did not help the nearly $800 I paid to have my car towed and repaired. If I had not stopped when I did and get a tow I would have been risking my life. A 4 hour drive turned into a 9 hour ordeal.

I asked O'Gorman's to investigate because they claimed it was a defective part. The manufacturer of the part was supposed to be contacted. O'Gorman's told me the manufacturer would most likely say it was installation. I don't care if it was defective or installation. Either way, the wheel bearing broke only a few months after it was brand new. I was stranded for hours in the middle of [redacted]. I expect more than just the refund of the original part.Desired Settlement: I expect a refund for everything the dealership had to do to my car due to this defect or installation error. It shouldn't have happened, my life was at risk, and someone needs to take responsibility.

Ms. [redacted] brought her 2007 Honda Fit to O'Gorman and Sons in August 2014 with noisy front wheel bearings. The seals were worn out on both, there was no grease in either bearing and as a result they were noisy on both sides. With the customer's consent, we replaced both front wheel bearings. Each wheel bearing was $86.07 and the job took 4 hours of labor at $80 per hour.
