Review: I paid Dr.Michael Karlin a total of $2200 at my 9-**-12 & 10-**-12 appointments, paying him in advance for denture work planned. At our next appointment, 10-**-12, additional impressions were going to be done but instead [redacted] suggested I find a Florida dentist to do the work since I had moved to Florida earlier in the year. Learning then of the possibly lengthy process, I agreed with [redacted] that flying in from Florida every time an adjustment was needed would not be sensible. In February 2013 I had to call [redacted]'s office as I was receiving monthly bills for a 'remaining balance' due! Also I had not yet received the $2200 I had prepaid for work that was never done! The [redacted], said she would stop the monthly billings and also she would again remind [redacted] of the $2200 reimbursement still due me. During the rest of 2013 I made several attempts to reach [redacted], by phone as well as in writing. No response. I did have a conversation with [redacted]'s [redacted], this past January and she did advise me that she has spoken with [redacted] regarding the money that he owes me. Still no response from [redacted].Desired Settlement: To be refunded the $2200 I prepaid to [redacted] for work he did not do. He received from me a $2,000 check payment on 9-**-2012 as well as a $200 check payment on 10-**-2012.
