I am the General Manager of [redacted] Jordan's Steak HouseThis is in response to the letter from [redacted] which I included in this faxWe contacted Mr [redacted] five business days after he emailed our home office in ChicagoHe dined with us on Saturday, March 8th with his girlfriend between 8:30pm and 9pmI am unsure of why there is a comment that a manager didn't visit the tableOn two separate occasions that evening [redacted] the manager on duty visited the table and at both times [redacted] was checking on how everything wasRegarding the steak price, we do not have a steak that is priced at $115, our steaks start at $and our entrees are priced between $and $Mr [redacted] had two sodas, which he said the second one was flat, and his girlfriend a glass of wineThe server did not treat the guests any differently due to what they orderedThey sat in our lounge/bar area of the restaurant where guests often order drinks onlysometimes drinks and appetizers and at times guests have dinnerWhen we spoke to Mr [redacted] on the phone he mentioned that an hour after dining, he and his girlfriend got sick, as he also states in his letter to the bureauThey didn't go to a hospital or a doctorWhen asked if there were any allergies that him or his girlfriend had he said "no they didn't have allergies." Mr [redacted] stated in his concersation that he and his girlfriend dined that afternoon in a different restaurant, his girlfriend had fried fish and french fries and he had steakfrench fried and broccoliMr [redacted] made reference to several times in the conversation that it may have been the garlic that made them sick, but he wasn't sureWe had tried to reach out to Mr [redacted] as the manager who spoke with him promised she would look into how many people ordered the same items they had that evening, and if there were any known issuesWhen trying to contact him back with the information he did not return any callsMr[redacted] and his girlfirnend consumed garlic bread and Caesar salad, which are our most popular items.On the 8th we sold over Caesar salads and sold over garlic breadsWe have received no other complaints regarding food issuesWe did send him a note as we do with anyone contacting us and also gave him a discount card to use during his next dining experience with us Thank You and please contact me directly with further questions Warmest Regards, [redacted] General Manager [redacted] Jordan's Steak House

I am rejecting this response because: First most of what is said in the response is untrue. First a manger did walk by our table when we recieved our app at that point we weren't sick. We didn't get sick untill about an hour after we left there.
Second she claims that none of their steaks cost $115 Unless they just changed their menu that is a lie and I know that for a fact because my parents went to the same resturant last week and looked at the menu and the indeed have a steak that cost $115. With that being said if at all possable I would like to see an updated menu.
She also mentioned that she had no other complaints that day, but that doesn't mean ppl didnt call. 
She did send me a coupon in the mail but the coupon is worth $0 to me cause the only resturant close to me is at the Resort which I only visit once a year.
 
To be I don't think that I am gonna get anywhere with this. It just seems to me that they have a whole different story from when I was there. The big issue I have now is they claim they do not have a steak that cost $115, when I have friends that have been there and have paid that.
 
I just would like to see a copy of their menu cause they must have made the menu change over the past week

Review: I recently went to this resturant and had a very bad experience. I have tried to contact the corp headquarters and no one seems to be interested on hearing my complaint.When my gf and I went to this resturant we first noticed on the menu that the cheapest item was about $115 for a steak. After seeing this we deicded to just go with apps. We ordereed garlic bread that we split on the menue it said it came with blue cheese dressing we requested not to have it, and we each ordered a cesar salad. When the waitress realized this was all we were getting she began to give us an attitude. I ordered a coke and she gave me a watered down drink. When the brought out the garlic bread the blue cheese was in a cup we were asked if we wanted it on it and we said no she poured it on after we said no. We then asked for a manager but where the place was sold out on a saturday night it just so happened that the manager was too busy. A copule was sitting next to us and they told us they go in there alot and they have scene that if ppl order under $50 the wait staff treats them very bad.About an hour after dinner we both became extremly sick from the food. The next day we had left the hotel and tried calling for a manager and no one returned out call. When we got home I contacted the corp in Chicago by phone and email and no one would respond eitherDesired Settlement: I had requested to have a refund of what we paid paying over $50 just to get sick was not worth it
