I just spoke to Todd [redacted] our pre-own manager here at Sterling McCall Honda who was handling this for the storeHe had spoke to [redacted] at American Honda Finance this morning and he assured me that Honda was fixing this Mr [redacted] is not reponsible for the $ I do apoligize that it took awhile to get this fixed and if has any other questions he can contact me directlyThank you, Mike [redacted] General ManagerSterling McCall Honda

All pre-own cars are sold AS/IS we offer service agreements on all pre own carsThe customer decided to not purchase the service agreement, the customer also signed the AS/IS form and knew the car came with no warrantyTherefore I do not feel that Sterling McCall Honda is responsible for any repairs on the vehicle

The refund for an extended warranty when canceled would of gone back to the bank that financed the car if the loan was not paid off completelyThat amount would come off the balance of the loan total amountIf the car was paid off and there was time and mileage left on the contract then you might
be eligible for a partial refundI am not familiar with what exactly your circumstance was with the loan on the car and the termination of the warranty. Okay then you said you'd help me out canceling my extended warrantyI'd like to cancel it as soon as possible

We have been working to get the contract straight, Honda Finance changed computer systems causing them to have a huge backlogs of dealsMy Honda rep said at one point they were days behind and over contracts They inputted the first contract and when we sent the second one the new
system kicked itThe new contract was just sitting there when we checked on itHonda Finance told us they would correct the contract and contact the customerI will check with Honda again today and see what's going on.Mike Collins

Mr*** Collins never asked me for
any documentation through several emails in regards to the loan being paid off nor did MrPhil Auguste of Finance when I paid a visit to MrAusguste back on December 21, 2016 . In several emails (proof)that I just reviewed they clearly state he wasn't sure who would be refunding the money to meBoth are very incompetent employees for Sterling McCall Honda of Kingwood.

Sterling McCall Honda has cancelled your service agreement, I can't help that Honda will take so long to process the cancelationI don't know what else I could help you withKen should of had you come back in and sign new paperwork for the loan without the service agreement the very first day, if the paperwork had not gone to HondaThat would of made this whole thing so much easier and quicker to fix. Daryl *** Service Manager explained that, until high
pressure leak is fixed and pressure is added back to system, no one could have
known about the compressor. He apologized several times and offered again to
assist them with no chg labor on the compressor work and further
explained that, once a new compressor
is installed, something else may start to leak under pressure as well and that
we just can't predict these things on a year old vehicle. We were willing to discount the repair on the compressor, but he wanted money back for the repairs that had to be made on the carWe will not be refunding any money to the customer. Mike ***

Sterling McCall Honda has not sold Credit Life, Accident and Health Insurance in over yearsI looked at her contract and there is none listedThe Extended Service Agreement may be canceled, all she needs to do is come in the dealership and sign a form to cancelThe refund will be based on the
amount of time and mileage on the car against the term and mileage purchasedI do apologize that know one had contacted youIf you still want to cancel the extended service agreement please just come out to the store and ask for Mr*** the finance Director and he will take care of the cancellation.Sincerely,Mike ***General Manager

I thought you had already canceled the extended warranty, if you haven't you just need to stop by the store and sign the paperwork with any finance manager. Mike ***

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.   Ken clearly told me on the phone I DO NOT NEED TO GO TO THE OFFICE and he would send me the paperwork by Email. And in the very first Email, I attached the proof/screenshot of his acknowledgement of my cancellation but ignore my request. It's so funny every time I tried to get some explanations I always get different answers,which proved how bad the communication between finance department/store manager/Honda Care it was. Please do not use HONDA brand as your shield and try to sound like your dealership is protected under their roof .  An officer told me from  Honda Corporate has already told me all the dealerships are owned separately with some regulations. This incident would definitely raise Honda Corporate attention.Last but not least, both Honda Corporate and [redacted] Corporate have created an incident/complaint regarding with my horrible experience with your dealership.

I have to again refer you to the GAP insurer for cancelation information. I wish I could help you but it is just like when you wanted a refund for the Credit Life, Accident and Health Insurance  and I tried 3 times to explain it to you that we didn't sell Credit Life, Accident and Health Insurance for over 10 years and you kept saying that we needed to refund your money for it. I guess you finally called Honda and realized that we weren't keeping your money because you hadn't bought any of those products. Now you think we are keeping your money again.Maybe this explanation will help you. When you buy homeowners insurance and your house has a small fire the insurance company sends out a adjuster that determines the amount of money you should receive for the damage. If your not happy with that amount you call the person that sold you the insurance. He will just refer you to the adjuster because he has know say in to how much you should receive. Same thing with us we have no say into how much refund you have coming from the GAP insurer.Please contact them concerning any problems with your policy. All I have been trying to do is help you, but I don't control the GAP insurance company and have no say as to how much they prorate your refund to be.Mike [redacted]

made very aware of the product seeing that you signed 4 different forms with it on them. We were happy to cancel the extended service agreement for you, I know from other contact that you were unaware that the Certified Honda comes with the power train warranty, and the wrap around service plan you bought would cover the other major components of the car like computers, power window regulators and air conditioning components, etc.Unfortunately the Resist all was added to the car and can not be removed.
