Review: On September 13, 2013 I purchased a pair of earrings from Michael Matthews Jewelers. It looked okay. They told me the earrings were total weight of 30 points of diamonds. You could not even see the diamonds because they were very small. I disputed this with my credit card and they said I purchased them as a final sale. They never informed me verbally, but I noticed it was on the bill. They claimed I wore them and I did not. I just tried them on. I sent them back to the jewelers and a fellow named [redacted] sent them back to me. I sent them back and said they were not mine anymore. The dispute ended and I had to pay them because it was a final sale and I agreed with them. I wrote to this [redacted] person and told him to send them back to me because they were paid for. I never received them. I called the jewelry store twice and told them to send them to me because they got paid and I would not dispute it any more. I called them twice, two weeks ago and today. Isn't it suspicious that they had a fellow named [redacted] contact me. He is also from [redacted] in my general side of the island. They refuse to honor my request. All I want is the earrings back and the weight of diamonds I was told they were. They told me it was 30 points of diamonds total weight for the earrings. But, it was not written on the bill and he did it behind his store. I thought this was very odd. I made a mistake in buying them. They are not nice business people at all.Desired Settlement: I would like a replacement of the earrings and I will be satisfied or a refund. I don't want any more trouble, just for them to do the right thing.

Review: I bought a watch for my wife for mother's day occasion. It was a surprise for my wife but my wife didn't like the watch and now we can not return it since they don't offer returns or exchanges. I haven't been told this before or at the time of purchase and the receipt was put in the bag. Now I have ended up with an expensive watch and angry wife and store is not accepting their fault by not warning me before buying the product. They didn't even sign the warranty protection card at the time of purchase and now watch we own is not under warranty.Desired Settlement: I would like them to refund me or exchange the watch with the one my wife wants. Thank you

We are responding to a complaint from a customer who bought a [redacted] watch from our store on May 10, 2014. The customer states that his wife did not like the watch that he bought for her, but we have evident proof on camera that the gentleman came to our store with his wife and mother in law. They looked at our [redacted] Collection and decided to walk around and check prices. After three or four hours they returned and purchased the watch which the customer’s wife had chosen.

The customer’s complaint is that at the time of purchase he was not warned of our policy, which is absurd since he asked what was our store policy concerning the watches and the sales associate that helped him specifically said no or exchanges on watches. Also we have two large signs around the store, and on the showcases we stated our policy and it is also on the invoice he received. We can not allow someone to buy an expensive watch, wear it for a few days, and just return it with the excuse that they did not like it, when it was them who chose it in the first place.

We invite the customer to be responsible and mature to admit he is simply not stating facts and the truth.

First of all, it is my bad that I haven't seen the signs about the no exchanges otherwise I wouldn't have bought the watch.
