This was over 1/years ago, I usually pay cash for my co-pay so no I do not have any documentation....I would not have kept the receipt either, especially after this long time period

We are in receipt of the complaint dated October 8, regarding [redacted] [redacted] was indeed billed 1/years after his surgery because we were under a contractual obligation to do soRecently we Switched billing personnel and our new service discovered some old copays that had never been collectedIt was not part of some dishonest strategy, but rather an oversight on the part of the previous billing personWhen a debt is incurred, the mere fact that it was not promptly billed does not mean that it is not owedI am sure that had [redacted] been a reasonable person that he would have understood thisI am sure that if he were contractually obligated to bill someone that he too would have done so.We strongly object to our patient's characterization of both DrGross and our staffDrGross does not perform questionable procedures and our staff is far from incompetentInstead of calling our office in a polite manner and requesting that the balance be written off, he engaged in very hostile behavior towards the staff person over a $chargeIt was not that person’s fault that he had not been billed promptly, yet he spoke to her in an abusive mannerIt is only natural human behavior to respond to uncivil behavior in a less than civil toneHad [redacted] behaved normally, and requested that the charge be written off it would have likely been, but that was far from the caseInstead he continued to impugn this practice and all of the persons associated with itStill, despite his actions, as a courtesy, I have written this charge off.In billing him, we have fulfilled our contractual obligation to do soI would strongly suggest to [redacted] that, in the future, should he call a business about a disputed charge that he engage its personnel in a civil manner; then he might have had his desired outcome with so much less time and energy expended on everyone's partWe thank you [redacted] for your both time and attention to this matter and apologize for any time that you have expended that could be devoted to a more important matter.Regards,Pamela G*** Practice Administrator Prince William Plastic Surgery

We are in receipt of the complaint dated October 8, 2016 regarding [redacted]. [redacted] was indeed billed 2 1/2 years after his surgery because we were under a contractual obligation to do so. Recently we Switched billing personnel and our new service discovered some old copays that...

had never been collected. It was not part of some dishonest strategy, but rather an oversight on the part of the previous billing person. When a debt is incurred, the mere fact that it was not promptly billed does not mean that it is not owed. I am sure that had [redacted] been a reasonable person that he would have understood this. I am sure that if he were contractually obligated to bill someone that he too would have done so.We strongly object to our patient's characterization of both Dr. Gross and our staff. Dr. Gross does not perform questionable procedures and our staff is far from incompetent. Instead of calling our office in a polite manner and requesting that the balance be written off, he engaged in very hostile behavior towards the staff person over a $20 charge. It was not that person’s fault that he had not been billed promptly, yet he spoke to her in an abusive manner. It is only natural human behavior to respond to uncivil behavior in a less than civil tone. Had [redacted] behaved normally, and requested that the charge be written off it would have likely been, but that was far from the case. Instead he continued to impugn this practice and all of the persons associated with it. Still, despite his actions, as a courtesy, I have written this charge off.In billing him, we have fulfilled our contractual obligation to do so. I would strongly suggest to [redacted] that, in the future, should he call a business about a disputed charge that he engage its personnel in a civil manner; then he might have had his desired outcome with so much less time and energy expended on everyone's part. We thank you [redacted] for your both time and attention to this matter and apologize for any time that you have expended that could be devoted to a more important matter.Regards,Pamela G[redacted] Practice Administrator Prince William Plastic Surgery
