Michael Perri & Sons, Inc. Reviews (1)

I was almost waiting for this letter as we are in litigation with Mr. [redacted] for non-payment of an invoice he feels he is not responsible for paying. The septic system process stated with the real estate agent, who also happens to be related to one of the owners of the property. [redacted], the...

real estate agent, contacted me stating that the home needed a new system and would like a quote which we provided. At the time that we provided the quote, [redacted] explained that the house was actually a three bedroom home home but was on the tax roll as a two bedroom home and [redacted] asked me to contact [redacted] directly to help him with the process of getting the tax roll changed from a two bedroom to a three bedroom. At this point I had the pleasure of starting my relationship with Mr. [redacted]. Mr. [redacted] was aware that the system was failed, due to [redacted]'s contract with him and forwarded our original quote for $12,500 to install a new septic system ( please note that on the bottom of every quote there is a notification that states the following " In the event a pump will be required we will then install pump chamber and pump with a Master Electrician to wire an connect the existing service panel. (Additional $3000.00) will apply, and we began working together with the town of [redacted]'s tax assessor's office to get a rep there to re -assess the home as a three Bedroom ( This was an absolute chore, we were both very frustrated working in the town.) We had a great relationship through the entire process. After about a two month process we finally got the paperwork from the town and Mr. [redacted] gave me his verbal approval to move forward with the test hole and plan for the septic system. At this time I asked [redacted] if it was ok for me to sign the application for the permit needed to go to ** DEM ( I have a witness from my office that will attest to the fact that I did ask this question as I ask everyone this question as some people would rather sign the document themselves). He gave me permission to sign the document on his behalf at that time. We scheduled the test hole and the test hole results were indicative that the septic system did require a pump. The design was submitted to ** DEM and was "kicked back" due to the first set of paperwork provided to us from the tax assessor's office and more comprehensive sheet would need to be submitted to have a plan approved. I contacted [redacted] via telephone with the issue I had with DEM and [redacted] went to city hall and got the Vision appraisal version of the assessment and emailed it to me so that I could provide it to RI DEM ( all this is backed up through email documentation) When Mr. [redacted] received the plan from ** DEM and saw the designers name on the design was [redacted] of [redacted] Septic and not Michael Perri and sons Inc. [redacted] contacted [redacted] and asked who he was, [redacted] seemed to be confused because he hired Michael Perri and Sons Inc to do his septic not [redacted] Septic. [redacted] explained that he does work for MP&S he does all our septic design work as well as works for the company full time, but does have his own design company. Mr. [redacted] made the comment to Mr. [redacted] at this time. "well it looks like I am getting this design for free." [redacted] came to work the next day and explained this to me and I immediately contacted [redacted] who was not taking my calls zand then called his real estate agent [redacted], again a relative of one owners, and she said to me at the time I really don't want to get in the middle of this, you will have to deal with him dirtectly. Unfortunately she is involved as she began process between both parties but she is not returning calls either. Due to the fact that all parties involved became unresponsive I had to forward all this information over to our lawyer [redacted]
