I have contacted the store where the money order was purchasedWhile the store followed the company policy regarding the refunding
of money orders; in the interest of customer service and as a good faith gesture, the store will issue a refund or a replacement money orderWe ask that the customer bring in all parts of the damaged money order and the stub to the storeIf Ms*** chooses a refund, the store will refund *** plus the *** money order fee
As for the mailing fee due to damage, I apologize, but that is beyond our control and I cannot refund the *** I do recommend that the customer contact the Postal Service and request the fee be refunded

My only problem is that while I have the receipt from strak n van til and most of the damaged money order sometime between Friday and today I lost the money order stubWould that be a problem?

As long as the customer can provide the damaged money order(what she has) and the store receipt, we will not require the money order stub
We would like the customer to provide for us an approximate date/time when she would going to the location
