MICHAEL TARAS, DMD, LLC DENTIST

In the two years I have been seeing Taras I have always paid with a credit card Last week my crown he put in broke so I called for an appointment which was today 8/24/ As usual I signed in when entering the reception area and sat down I was called back to the reception desk where the receptionist said she needed $cash! I said before seeing the dentist? Yes was the response I started taking out my credit card and she said it had to be cash! I said I always paid with credit card....almost $in two years so why the change? She said it is policy with emergency service I said this was not an emergency but she said it is policy and I said it is lousy policy At that point Taras who was out of sight rolled his chair into the area and said the policy was fine and that I had to pay cash I crossed my name off the sisheet and said I guess I need a new dentist and that I would report him He shouted something offensive back as I was leaving the building Other patients were in the room which was totally embarrassing to me I think he is rude and possible has an unstable personality

Yes was the response. I started taking out my credit card and she said it had to be cash! I said I always paid with credit card....almost $5000.00 in two years so why the change? She said it is policy with emergency service. I said this was not an emergency but she said it is policy and I said it is lousy policy. At that point Taras who was out of sight rolled his chair into the area and said the policy was fine and that I had to pay cash. I crossed my name off the sign-in sheet and said I guess I need a new dentist and that I would report him. He shouted something offensive back as I was leaving the building. Review: Dr Taras had made dentures for me.I felt they did not fit properly so I went for a second opinion.Which I was told they were made incorrectly.Upon telling Dr Taras this and asking for a new pair or repair,he proceeded to tell me I am wasting his time,and that inlight of my inability to understand that I caused my own problems,and my foolish lower class entitlement attitude.Mt teeth had to be remove do to the medications I have been taking.On Feb 5th I suffered a heart attack,so with out teeth it is difficult to eat a healthy diet.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund and nothing billed to my insurance company,do to the fact this will prolong me getting proper dentures.
