I am responding to you regarding the complaint you received by [redacted] When the jeans were dropped off by [redacted] he was told by [redacted] (shift leader) we follow tha manufacturers care label [redacted] made nomention when told thisHe took his claim ticket and left the store: ***was not even in the store more than seconds.The manufacturers care label give the complete guidence on how to takecare of the itemWe follow the Federal Trade Comission guidelinesAfterthe jeans were picked up, ***'s mother proceeded to call and talk to ourmanager ***She became quite upset when [redacted] started to explainour policyShe did not want to hear what was said.Within thirty minutes or so, ***'s mother's fiance called and spoke with [redacted] regarding the situation [redacted] explained to him our procedureand why it was done this wayHe AGREED with [redacted] and stated "thatmakes sense to me"He said they both were upset because they felt theywere charge more for the serviceHe was told the costs are the same[redacted] even explained to him why items are labeled wash or dry clean.Dry clean should have dyes that can with stand the solventWashablesshould have dyes that will stand up to washingHe even stated during theconversation with [redacted] that these were cheap jeansHis final commentto [redacted] was you will not have any problems with my fiance.If these jeans faded and we followed the manufacturer's label they need tobe brought back to the store were purchasedEnclosed are two brochuresI am sending you from the I.F.IThese are very informative and they arealways available on display to our customers.Please feel free to contact me with any further questions or concerns

I am responding to
Mr***’s response because I feel that the problem has not been resolved. What he has stated was not true *** did not at any time disclose
any information about following the manufacturer’s guidelines for my Levi
pants. As mentioned before in my
original complaint, I have had my Levi’s dry-cleaned before and I was adamant
about getting them dry cleaned not washed and dried. As a result of washing and drying them, they
faded and shrunk, I can no longer wear them because they don’t fit
If *** would
have looked at the tag on my Levi’s before I left the store and had explained
their policy to me I would have refused to have them washed and dried and I
would of signed a no fault waiver to have my Levi’s dry cleaned. I would have taken the responsibility if my
Levi’s did not come out the way I wanted them
MrTodd mentioned
in his response letter of two brochures that are available and on display to
his customers. These brochures were not
mentioned to me at the time I dropped off and picked up my pants nor were they
mentioned to my mother when *** talked to her nor to my step-dad when he
talked to MrTodd on the telephone
